Land Acquisition in Munshiganj is going on in a Coordinating Manner with the following Department

Responsible for Land Acquisition, Representing the Central Government in the District.
Empowered by the Law ( The Movable and Immovable Property Acquisition and Requisition Ordinance 1982)
To inform the people about acquisition by serving Notice under section 3 of the Law.
To demark the land.
To make a list of affected family, land and other property through joint verification with BBA.
To coordinate with other government Agencies to asses the total cost for acquisition.
To provide compensation to the affected people.
To handover the land to BBA.
Role of the Team MembersRole of the Team Members
PWD- To asses the cost of Structure as per government approved rate schedule.
DR- To asses the price of Land. DAE- To asses the per acre crop production for final
calculation of compensation. LGED- To asses the cost of Structure as per
government approved rate schedule for the requisition area.
DF-To asses the market price of trees . DMD- To asses the market price of crops.
