Niños del Lago Mission

Our Niños del Lago program is designed to help transform the lives of Guatemala’s neediest children by providing an educational and mentoring experience in an inspirational setting where they can relax and imagine a life beyond poverty.

How will the program work?

The program provides one trained Guatemalan university student as camp counselor to every six children.

Children are invited to return year afteryear, giving them an additional incentive tofocus on education and stay in school.

Our Service Partners

• Orphanages, rural schools for indigenous youth, and other private organizations throughout Guatemala who provide shelter and education for the poorest children.

• Niños del Lago supplements and strengthens the work of other child welfare organizations.
