Background

Olive oil sector plays an important social

and economic part around the Mediterranean

basin. Several structural and technical

constraints influence the development of the

sector where plant protection is considered as

an important factor which play a part in

production and olive oil quality. Therefore,

considerable efforts must be deployed to

improve productivity and quality of olive oil.

Owing to the importance of plant protection, an

international symposium will be organized in

order to discuss the researches activities in this

domain and to share experiences and

knowledge between researchers and

professionals
