Selecting the ISO sensitivity
Abbreviation for the InternationalOrganization for Standardization. ISOstandards specify the sensitivity for digitalcameras and lm, thus codes such as ISO
100 are used to represent sensitivity. In the ISO setting, although smaller valuesresult in less sensitivity, sharp images canbe taken under fully lit conditions. Larger values result in higher sensitivity, andimages can be taken at fast shutter speedseven under low light conditions. However, high sensitivity introduces noise into theresulting picture, which may give it a grainyappearance.
