The first stage is a phase of recapture of the Huningue and Weil am Rhein’s banks by their inhabitants.

Proposal of a landscaping rather hardly on banks for introduce new uses and reappropriation.

Recapture Work of town planning on the municipality of Huningue and Weil am Rhein.

The second stage allows the establishment of new activities and a diversity of program.

The third stage constitutes an increasingly dense tissue.

It accomodates a project of tramway’s extension..

Trinational mesh

- A footbridge to connect two banks: the crossing of the island is made in height favoring the continuity of the volume through the built.

- The tramway station creates a link between the footbridge and the island and so the only way of access to the footbridge since this place.

- The feeling of encirclement got by the structure of the footbridge which disappears when we turn to the river and take advantage of the porosity of the structure.

- The height variation of the elliptic structure between supports is structural but offer also a variation of the internal volume.

- The tramway station is the support to both parts of the footbridge crossing the river.
