Q1. What system settings are required for installation of PREDCR / AUTODCR?

Point A) Give full rights to C drive.

Step 1: Go to control panel.

Step 2: Click on user accounts.

Step 3: Click on ‘Change user account control settings’.

Step 4:- Now move the cursor to never notify.

Step 5: Restart the machine.

Step 6: Open start menu, then type “Regedit” and hit enter as shown in below screenshot.

Step 7: Follow the path:

VERSIONPOLICYSYSTEM.

Step 8: Change the EnableLUA value to 0.

Step 9: Restart the machine.

Point B) To check the error in application

Step 1: Go to control panel.

Step 2: Click on system security.

Step 3: Click on Administrative tools.

Step 4: Click on Event viewer.

Step 5: Click on Window log.

Step 6: Click on application to check the application related errors and click on system to check

the system related errors.

Point C) To check the HASP drivers for autodcr and predcr

Step 1:- Open start menu, then type “Run”.

Step 2: Open start menu, then type “Regedit” and hit enter as shown in below screenshot.

Step 3: Follow the path

Step 4: In Coserver, check CoActivator and CoPDCRActivator folder

Step 5: Also check corresponding AutoDCR and PreDCR folder in SEPL.

Q2. How to ‘mark margin’ in PREDCR drawing?

Step 1: Click on second tab ‘mark margin’ command of PreDCR Toolbar.

Step 2 : Select ‘Yes’ button.

Step 3: ‘Click corresponding button to mark the margins’ select rear, side 1 and side 2 margins

in drawing.

Step 4: Click ‘Ok’.

Notes:

1) Plot poly line, Net plot poly line and Margin lines are not drawn twice.

2) All poly line entities should be closed.

3) Check the road layer and text.

4) Site Plan contains plot ploy line, net area ploy line, margin line , proposed work(building

line) ,road (existing /road widening ), green strip, RWHS, Amenities/sub structure.

Q.3. How to mark green strip in PREDCR drawing?

Step 1: Select ‘OrganizedOpenSpace’ layer in l ayer dropdown.

Step 2: Draw Green strip closed poly line in the drawing.

Step 3: To mark Green Strip follow the path.

Mark Organized Open Space Green Strip

Step 4: Select ‘OrganizedOpenSpace’ polylines and press “ENTER”.

Q.4. How to mark road widening in PREDCR drawing?

Step 1: Select ‘RoadWidening’ layer in Layer Dropdown.

Step 2: Draw ‘Road Widening’ using closed poly line.

Step 3: To mark “Road Widening” follow the path.

Mark Road WideningsUndo marking (Default)/Surrendered Free of Cost.

Step 4: Select ‘RoadWidening’ polylines and press “ENTER”.

Q.5. How to write main road text in PREDCR drawing ?

Above screen shot is an example capturing incorrect road text in drawing.

Step 1: Select ‘Main road’ layer, go to Mtext and write as shown below.

Q.6. How to draw section line in site plan in PREDCR drawing?

Step 1: Select “SectionLine” layer in Layer Dropdown.

Step 2: Draw 'Section Line’ using “PL (PLINE)” command.

Step 3:-Text “Section Line” using “MT (MTEXT) command.

Q7. How to mark drawing reference points in PREDCR drawing?

Step 1: Direction Ref Circle: Use this command to insert Direction Ref Point (Orientation) inside Floor and PropWork.

Step2: From PreDCR dropdown toolbar, select the following:

PreDCR Insert Direction Ref Circles

Step3: Insert the Direction Ref Circles inside the PropWork in the plot.

Step 4: Copy the Direction Ref Circles by selecting a common point from inserted site plan

and place it in the required floor plans.

Step 5 : After Copying the Direction ref Circles in all plans (including Terrace floor plan) then

PreDCR verification can be done.

Q8. How to mark nala/canal/water bodies in PREDCR drawing ?

Step 1: Select “_WaterBodies” Layer in Layer dropdown.

Step 2: Draw Water body using “Pline” command. Polyline for water body should be open .

Step 3: Mark the corresponding water body as shown in below path.

MarkWaterBodiesRiver/FTL boundary of Lakes/Tanks/Kuntas of area 10Ha and above/ FTL boundary of Lakes/Tanks/Kuntas of area less than 10Ha/ Shikam lands / Defined boundary of Canal, Vagu, Nala, Storm Water Drain of width more than 10m /Defined boundary of Canal, Vagu, Nala, Storm Water Drain of width up to 10m.

Step 4: Select “Water Body” and Press “ENTER” button.

Q9. How to select road widening concession in PREDCR drawing?

Case No 01: To select road widening concession as “Grant of TDR”

Step 1: Click on “Road Widening Concession” dropdown in DCR Project dialog box .

Step2: Select “Grant of TDR” option.

Step3: Enter “TDR Area” and click on ‘OK’ button.

Case No 02: To select road widening concession as “RW Setback Concession”

Step 1: Click on ‘Road Widening Concession’ dropdown in DCR Project dialog box .

Step 2: Select ‘RW setback concession’ and Click on ‘OK’ button.

Case no 03: To select road widening concession as ‘Additional Floors’

Step 1: Click on ‘Road Widening Concession’ dropdown in DCR Project dialog box .

Step 2: Select ‘Additional Floors’ option, Enter ‘Road widening Floor No’ and click on ‘OK’

button.

Case No 04:-To Select road widening concession as “All (includes Grant of TDR, RW Setback

Concession and Additional Floor)”

Step 1: Click on “Road Widening Concession” dropdown in DCR Project dialog box .

Step 2:-Select ‘ALL’ option, Enter ‘Road widening Floor No & TDR Area’ and click on ‘OK’button.

Q10. How to mark special_use_bua in PREDCR drawing ?

Case No 01: To mark BUA for special use building e.g. proposed church building

Step 1:- Select Plot Use – Assembly.

Step 2:- Select, Plot Sub Use – Religious (since propsed building is a church).

Step 3:- Select Land Use Zone according to the land details. (in this case it is NA), Then click OK.

Step 4:- The specific layer for Assemblyreligiousbuilding will therefore be created in

PreDCR. (As shown below)

Step 5:-Draw BUA polyline for structure under layer SpecialUse_BUA in the proposed building

Step 6:-Then Mark Special use BUA polyline, under PreDCR drop down toolbar,

MarkSpecialUse FAR Markings Assembly.

Step 7:-Select “_SpecialUseBUAOutline Polylines” & press “Enter”.

Step 8: After Following these steps in marking BUA for special use Buildings, Then proceed with

the PreDCR Verification.

Q11. How to mark mortgage area for total bua in PREDCR drawing?

According to (G.O Ms – 168; 25, d) The owner is required to hand over 10% of the built-up area in the ground floor or first

floor or the second floor, as the case may be. In respect of row houses / detached houses / cluster housing 5% of the units shall be

handed over. Then only the Building sanction will be released.

Step 1:-Draw Mortgage area polyline according to the required area on one of the proposed

floors. (Ground / First / Second) according to the case.

Step 2: Mark the Mortgage area polyline from PreDCR dropdown toolbar;

MarkMortgage area Built Up Area to Mortgage.

Step 3: After Marking the Mortgage area Polyline, PreDCR verification can be done.

General instructions:

1) Always run PreDCR before AutoDCR scrutiny.

2) Cross check AUTODCR scrutiny results with drawing.

3) Check other parameters like land use, Sub landuse while running the drawing.
