Embedding and Customizing Workspaces – Cognos Workspace can be embedded in any third party application or
organization portal enabling organizations to provide embedded analytics
with a customized and unique experience for their users • Embedded workspaces can include or omit parts of the IBM Cognos user
interface
• In applications or portals that contain a prompted workspace, users can
append prompt parameter values to the URL to pass new prompt parameter
values to the workspace or to avoid being prompted.

Policy
Specifies the length of time support will be available for IBM Software from when the product is available for purchase to the time
the product is not longer supported
Ensures support is available for all IBM components of a product or until the product or bundle is withdrawn from support.
All components of a bundle have a common End of Service date.
Published notice of support discontinuance (End of Service) at least 12 months prior to effective date
End of Service will occur on common dates either in the months of April or September
Standard Enhanced
Provides a minimum of 3 years of product technical support
Makes product support extensions available, where
possible, that are designed to allow adequate time to
migrate to the current release.
Provides a minimum of 5 years of product technical support
Makes support extensions available, for an additional fee,
for a minimum period of 3 years following the product's
effective support discontinuance date to allow adequate
time to migrate to the current release
