Psalm 117This shortest of hymns calls on the nations to acknowledge God’s supremacy.

The supremacy of God has been demonstrated to them by the people’s secure existence,

which is owed entirely to God’s gracious fidelity.

Paul quotes this Psalm in Rom 15: 11 inviting all to praise the Lord.

R. Go out to all the world,and tell the Good News.

Praise the Lord,all you nations,glorify him, all you peoples!

R. Go out to all the world,and tell the Good News.

For steadfast is his kindness toward us,and the fidelity of the Lord endures forever.

R. Go out to all the world,and tell the Good News.

Este es el más corto de los Salmos.

Insta a las naciones a reconocer la supremacía de nuestro Dios.

que se ha demostrado por la existencia segura de su gente,

que se lo debe por entero a la fidelidad de la gracia de Dios.

Pablo cita este salmo en Romanos 15: 11,

invitando a los nuevos Cristianos a alabar al Señor.
