The DM SE109-1 portable UHF Satcom antennasystem is the latest innovation in high gain,lightweight portable manpack antennas from aproven manufacturer. The DM SE109-1 combinesthe high reliability and maximum portability ofthe DM C120 umbrella antenna system with anincrease in antenna gain over the satellitefrequency band of 244 to 318 MHz. A rapidlydeployable antenna extension has been addedto ensure reliable communications regardless ofsatellite intercept angle or atmospheric condition.

Design improvements, in addition to the gainenhancement, include:

• An input connector with a pigtail cable toallow for easy access and cost effective repair.

• Improved ground plane.

• Improved tripod antenna adjustmentinterface.
