Service Definition

• A hoarding is a large outdoor advertising structure, typically found in high traffic areas such as alongside busy roads. Hoardings present large advertisements to pedestrians and vehicular traffic. Typically showing large, witty slogans and distinctive visuals, hoardings are highly visible in the top designated market areas. Hoardings create rapid top-of-mind awareness.

• This sector has a great competition over other means of promotion.

• Still it has its own position in the market.• The different types of hoardings include

Operational Issues

• Policy and guidelines issues• Placement of the hoardings• Getting permission from the government.• Issues due to tender notice.• Fixing of cost depending on the popularity of

area.• Meeting the client’s needs.

Quality Issues

• Should be clearly visible.• Should have the permission from the authority.• Should not distract the traffic.• Should be durable enough to withstand the

natural destruction.

7P’s 1) Place:

Place is the most important factor in service related to hoardings. The prime locations are premium priced. It depends on the locality. Where the hoarding is to be place.

2)Price : Price varies from place to place It depends on the size and visibility of the hoardings. It also depends on the number of days of contracts How many areas covered.

numbers They are many ad’s designed for promotion Online websites are available for booking for

hoardings.

6)Physical evidence: The mode of the hoarding itself is he physical evidence. The attractiveness of the hoarding. The difference and uniqueness of the hoarding.
