2 SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY�

•  Not only what employees can post�•  Also what the employer can post (opt in) �

(no tools needed. It’s about agreements that are made after discussions with staff) �

3 NO TWEET EVENTS�

•  For every company party, make clear if there will be tweeting or not �

•  Alternative: No Tweeting after midnight �

4 OPT-IN FOR PROMOS�

•  Ask for volunteers when a camera crew hits the work floor �

•  Announce beforehand that cameras will be present �

4 PROVIDE INTERNAL NETWORKS�

•  Ensure your intranet is participative: Yammer or (a good) Sharepoint site �

•  If not, people will create Facebook groups �•  Ensure the rules of the internal network

are clear (= no sharing externally) �
