Church of St. Jerome Emiliani Parish in Ayala, Alabang

• When this parish was entrusted to the care of the Somascan Fathers by the late Jaime Cardinal Sin, the legendary Cardinal considered as a hero and prophet of the nation, the area was still poor. The land area was surrounded by small hills covered by trees or tall weeds and squatters inhabiting the place. But now it transformed into a blooming business and shopping center with the village for the rich and the famous nearby.

• The Church, being at the center of the Town Center, is much appreciated by the people. It's about 6 masses every Sunday is well attended even its daily Masses. As the surrounding places are dominated by shops, malls, skycrapers and affluent villages the St. Jerome Emiliani Parish splendidly proclaims The Cross of Christ as the only and only means of Salvation for all.

• It's beautiful Baroque architecture exudes serenity, grace and beauty inviting people from all walk of life, rich and poor, to a genuine worship of God and in silent prayer. It's architecture harmonizes with that of the Town Center and the Ayala Museum adjacent to it.

• The success of St. Jerome Emiliani Parish is of course attributed to the Lord who made it His Temple and to St. Jerome Emiliani whose continuous intercession in heaven enlivens the faith of the Somascan Fathers and its parishioners. But we cannot forget as well the magnificent leadership and the hard works dedicated to it by its Parish Priests: Rev. Fr. Cesare de Santis, CRS and the current pastor, Rev. Fr. Grato Germanetto, CRS.
