Opportunities to speak

Dear volunteers,

You make a difference! Did you know that some of our ELLs:

Are on the frontline helping patients fight the corona virus?

Are helping other scientists find the cure for cancer?

Are making progress in the sciences and other fields of study?

Are writing books and peer-reviewed articles?

Are presenting research at international conferences and conventions?

Are making friends, raising families, and building a blessed community?

You empowered them!

Our sustainability plan includes an annual Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, but this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are planning a virtual tribute to show our appreciation to volunteers.

We provided lessons in photography, modern art andtraditional Chinese brush painting.

by creating opportunities to

participate, connect and discover.

Here’s an added incentive to apply for the next cycle of the

American Dream Literacy Initiative:

Public libraries, even those who have already been awarded a

grant award, are still eligible to apply for another $10,000

American Dream Literacy Initiative grant award one more time.

I believe the next grant cycle is currently on pause, due to the

COVID 19 pandemic, but keep checking for updates at the

official website at:
