CENTENNIAL PARK ZIG-ZAG ROADWAYWe wish to advise Centennial Park users that the zig-zag roadway, from the Bowker gate atOtipua Road to the BMX track intersection with the main Park roadway, will be re-opening to‘one way traffic only’.
The Bowker gate at Otipua Road will now be entry only with a single lane, one way traffic flow downthe hill into the Park. Motorists on the main Park roadway, looking to exit the Park will not be able touse the zig-zag roadway for that purpose – they will have to exit the Park to Quarry Road / OtipuaRoad or Claremont Road.
Meanwhile pedestrians and cyclists will be able to come and go (two-way) from the Park via thezig-zag on the new shared pathway.
