SAT scores may be sent to CSU Mentor (code #3594), and they will be distributed to ALL CSU campuses.
ACT scores must be sent to all CSU’s
University of California (UC) SAT Reasoning or ACT + Writing are Required SAT Subject is not required, but recommended
If a student sends SAT scores to any one UC, scores will automatically go to ALL UC’s.

STUDENT PORTAL ACCOUNT
Each CSU that students applies to will issue a Student Portal Account.
Universities usually only send one piece of mail that includes passwords required to access Student Portal Account.
Student Portal Accounts are the universities way of communicating with students and informing them of needed documents.
Extremely Important that students check their Student Portal Account weekly and follow through with their To Do List.
TRANSCRIPTS7th semester transcripts-
Students must request transcripts to be sent to universities only if they ask for them.
End of the Year Transcripts- Students must request transcripts to be sent at
the end of the year to the school they will be attending.
*Transcript Requests are free and can be made through Ms. Piper in the Guidance Center.
ENTRY LEVEL MATH (ELM)/ ENGLISH PLACEMENT TEST(EPT)During the spring of a student’s junior year, they
participate in the CA Assessment of Student Performance (CAASPP) in ELA & Math
The results of the CAASPP will determine if a student is ready for CSU College Level Math and English.
CAASPP Early Assessment Program (EAP) are for placement purposes only
Those students who are not ready or conditional for CSU College Level Math and English will need to register and pay for the ELM ($18) and EPT ($18).
Depending on the scores on the ELM and EPT accepted students may be required to take a remediation course in the summer before they begin college.

Financial aid is MONEY provided to students and families to help pay for postsecondary educational expenses
FAFSA is completed January 1st – March 2nd in the students senior year.
Through the FAFSA students apply for: Grants, Scholarships, Work Study, and Loans.

Student Intent to Register (SIR)
Accepted Students are required to accept admission and pay the enrollment deposit ($250) in order to reserve a spot at the university.
SIR deadline is usually May 1st (check with the university).
If students do not accept admission or pay the enrollment deposit by the deadline, their admission will be rescinded and the student will not be able to enroll at the university.
New Student OrientationAll newly admitted students to a CSU must
register and attend a New Student Orientation ($85).
Deadlines to register for New Student Orientation vary by campus (usually in May).
Dates for New Student Orientation fill up fast, so register as soon as possible prior to deadlines.
Failure to register and Attend New Student Orientation will result in admissions decision being revoked.
