Theatre 100 - Introduction to Theatre – Honors
An undergraduate level course for an university honors section of 18 students
Theatre 220 - Technical Production Fundamentals
An undergraduate level introduction to stagecraft that serves as 1 /3 of the core
curriculum in technology for the BA program.
Theatre 341 - Drafting for the Theatre
An undergraduate level introduction to pencil drafting, including a portfolio
project for BFA students. (Course was eliminated with the end of the BFA
program)
Theatre 600 - Professional Aspects of Theatre
A graduate/undergraduate course in portfolio preparation, resume development,
marketing, and job search skills. Co-taught with a member of the
Acting/Directing faculty.
Theatre 621 - Theatre Graphics
A graduate/undergraduate course in both pencil and computer aided drafting
(AutoCAD).
Theatre 622 - Metal as a Scenic Element
A graduate/undergraduate course introducing the use of metal in scenic
construction with laboratory experience with three primary types of welding.
Theatre 623 - Advanced Technical Production
A graduate/undergraduate course in structures, overhead rigging, hydraulics,
pneumatics, and other stage machinery.
Theatre 624 - Technical Direction
A graduate/undergraduate course in the skills associated with technical
direction, including scheduling, estimation, management, and personnel skills.
Theatre 626 - Theatre Sound
A graduate/undergraduate course in sound design and technology using both
analog and digital production and control.
Theatre 646 - Stage Properties
A graduate/undergraduate course in both the construction techniques and the
production process of props.
Theatre 890 - Directed Teaching Experience in Theatre
