or email thewalkers10@virginmedia.com
The group meet up every Wednesday from 8.45pm onwards at the Head of Steam Pub next to Huddersfield Railway Station. This makes it easy to get to by train from Lancashire or Yorkshire. Parking is available on the side streets or in the Station Car Park. The Pub serves meals and has a large selection of draught and bottle beers, ciders and soft drinks. Every month there is a quiz night where teams are picked by numbers. Each month we have a Friday Supper organised by one of the members. There is bowling every other month. These are just a sample of what activities we have on offer. We look forward to you joining us on Wednesdays.

Addingham Bar Night
Every Sunday but not the 1st Friday when we are at Bar t’at (see below
The Swan Addingham 106 Main Street, Addingham, LS29
According to the Good Pub Guide, this is one of the last remaining unspoilt village ale houses in Wharfedale. Its traditional design of four rooms arranged around a central bar is now rarely found. The Swan prides itself on the range and quality of its Real Ales and good home.
This is a very cosy pub and a good place to make that first visit! We sit around lovely log fires in the winter, often ending up chatting with the locals too.
There is a large car park at the back of the pub, found by turning sharply up a driveway to the left of the pub.
Addingham Bar Night - Bar t'at
Last Sunday of the month
Bar t’at Ale and Wine bar (1st Friday of the month) 7 Cunliffe Road, Ilkley LS299DZ (situated just off The Grove -Ilkley's premier shopping street)
Bar t’at’s (meaning ‘without a hat’) has taken its name from the song ‘On Ilkley Moor bar t’at’ Phrases from the song, painted around the walls, are an added interest in the bar!
This is a lively place with a definite buzz to the atmosphere –any new members would be advised to come to the Swan for their first visit (a rather calmer environment!)
Although the main entrance (pictured opposite) is on Cunliffe road, it is easier to use the back entrance as this leads directly from Ilkley’s main car park (free parking in the evenings)
Your VIP Hostess is Ros Scott
