INTRODUCTION covers the daily house-hold activities

related to kitchen. various kitchen appliances :- time

consuming and an expensive process. Rural areas :- highly impossible. Several attempts have been made to

develop a solution for these areas.

HUMAN POWER IN HISTORY Human power is work or energy that is

produced from the human body. Human power is sometimes used to

generate electricity that is stored. Human being is mostly addicted to

habits. These habits can be used to generate

motions like treadling, sliding, pedalling which can produce rotational motion.

ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGESAdvantages This will be the most acceptable means of providing power to

the places that involves difficulties of transmission. Human power has the advantages of being readily available at

all times. People can improve health by exercising in such mechanism. Its applications effectively emit zero co2 emission or other such

pollutants during operation. Harvesting human energy not only uses wasted energy but also

can actually improve biochemical efficiency. Low maintenance.Disadvantages High initial cost. Sophisticated construction. Not applicable for handicapped people.

CONCLUSION This research is focused on modelling, design and

control of pedal operated kitchen appliance, with emphasis on lightweight, portable & reliable kitchen appliance

An innovative method of minimizing manual stress and reliably stabilizing the kitchen work is presented

This experiment is carried out to made an impressing task in the rural area where irregular supply of electricity

It is very useful for the small scale works. Pedalling the flywheel at 400rpm will generate 350

watts of power per minute enough to handle most casual kitchen tasks. It saves the electrical energy at home level about 15-20 units/month. Payback period of this machine is about 3-4 years.
