Evaluation – Successes

• Easy to navigate – less time on homepage (58 seconds)• Comprehensive and targeted• Lower bounce rate, exit rate (35%, 21%)• Keywords and Listings – save time• More visually engaging• Upload Process– Used standardized template, – Pre-wrote emails for TMs to send to project partners with

specific ask

14

Evaluation – Challenges

• Too many clicks to get to content• Presentations get hidden, confusion with related documents

o Separate page for presentations creates another click• Keywords have to be maintained• Upkeep process for new projects (and past)• Project pages – balance between too much content vs. not

enough.

Success Stories Migration and Listings

Success Stories website will soft launch in energy.gov on 12/23 and hard launch on 1/12 at energy.gov/eere/success-stories.

• Stories will be available in your nested groups for listing pages and listing blocks

• Each office has a listing block in its nested group showing the three most recent stories for that office

• Success stories team will ask for your proposed updates to existing story content by 1/8

• Update your links to the old site between 12/23‒1/12.

17

Success Story• Groups

Audience = Your Office
