2 Introduction

Luigi's Mansion 2 is an action-adventure game in which youexplore different haunted mansionsas Luigi. Armed with one ofProfessor E. Gadd's inventions, the"Poltergust 5000", you can vacuumup ghosts and solve puzzles. Thereis also a team play mode in whichyou can play with friends or withpeople all over the world.

8 Using the Poltergust 5000

Make the Poltergust 5000 blowout air or fire the items stuck tothe nozzle.

You will need to use the Poltergust5000 on your quest. Later on in thegame, the Strobulb and the Dark-Light Device will become available.

Using the Dark-Ligh

Use the DarkLight Device tbring to lifobjects anentities that artrapped in specipictures, andmaterialise transparent objects.You can only use it for so longbefore it overheats, so keep aneye on the gaug ). Tomaterialise transparent objects,you need to vacuum up all theSpirit Balls first.

11 Thrill Tower - Basic Play

Select the communication type(p. 13-15) first. One player selectsCREATE GAME and chooses thetower mode, number of floors anddifficulty. Other players can thenjoin the game.

Play by yourself or with up to threeother players, completing objectiveson each floor as you ascend ThrillTower.Please be aware that, if you decideto play using wirelesscommunication, the User Name setin the Nintendo 3DS SystemSettings will be made visible and willalso be shared with other players.

Game Over occurs when the health

The requirements for cfloor will depend on the towermode. Satisfy them within the timelimit (p. 12) to progress to the nextfloor.
