Your SERDI Council of Peers has identified timely and relevant topics that all regional councils throughout the region face in 2015. A number of your fellow directors as well as outside experts will provide the instruction for this year’s conference. The early bird registration fee for this year’s conference is available through April 16 th is $475 for SERDI members and $675 for non-members. The room rate for single and double occupancy at the Marriott Griffin Gate is $139 plus tax per night. The room block cutoff date is April 16 th . You can call 1-859-231-5100 or 1-877-901-6632 and ask for the SERDI Group Rate or you can go on line at https://resweb.passkey.com/go/SERDI2015 This year’s conference will conclude with a reception and dinner at Keeneland. Keeneland, on the national historic register, is America’s finest horse racing venue. It also is a thoroughbred sales auction company. Included in our reception and dinner will be an information tour of the grounds. If you will be interested in playing golf, please let Jim Youngquist know at [email protected]. Greens Fees at the Griffin Gate Resort on weekends is $70. Included with this letter are the agenda and the registration form for the conference. We look forward to seeing you in Lexington!

Monday May 18 continued 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Keeneland: Tour, Closing Reception & Dinner This year’s closing event will take place at Keeneland, which is home to the 2015 Breeders Cup. This magnificent venue in on the historic register and in the minds of many, the greatest thoroughbred-racing venue in the world. As a non-profit entity it has used it’s proceed from races and two yearly thoroughbred sales to further the thoroughbred industry as well as to contribute to surrounding central Kentucky community. Buses will leave the Marriott Griffin Gate at 5:00 PM for the short trip to Keeneland. A Tour of the facility will be provided. Following the tour, a reception and dinner will be held in the clubhouse overlooking the track and the beauty of horse country. Buses will return to the Marriott around 8:00 PM.
