About UsOpen Door Group is a non-profit organization that operates on the fundamental belief that all individuals have the ability to succeed. We provide employment services to over 20,000 individuals per year across BC and are partnered with over 20 organizations to deliver these services. In addition to employment-focused services, we provide specialized skills training and job readiness programs for individuals living with disabilities and/or mental illness. Our mission is to open doors and inspire all British Columbians to succeed.About Project EVERYBODY

Pr o j e c t EVERYBODY is a community collaboration of non-profit societies including and led by Open Door Group. The project consists of five-events spread out over four months focusing on the inclusion of people of all abilities.

Pr o j e c t EVERYBODY celebrates the achievements that people of diverse abilities have made, and advocates for thriving communities that are both diverse and inclusive.

September: Film, Art and Culture Festival September 16th, 2015 - Yaletown Roundhouse - Watch award-winning films, enjoy mixed media art, and live performances at our International DisAbility Short Film, Art, and Culture Festival. Be sure to also join us in the main hall for an art social and sale running throughout the event. Come and soak up the electric atmosphere and take in some of the finest examples of creativity that Vancouver (and the world) has to offer both on and off the big screen. See you on the red carpet!

September: Employment Forum for Persons with DisAbilities September 21st, 2015 - Yaletown Roundhouse - Diversity and inclusion are a top priority for a growing number of employers. This forum brings together companies, career experts, and job seekers, sharing their knowledge and experiences of inclusive workplaces. Both job providers and seekers can get information regarding available resources, and grow their networks.

October: Youth HallowSCREAM Party October 29th, 2015 - Creekside Community Centre - A platform for youth of all abilities to get together and celebrate Halloween in an inclusive and fun environment. Join the Halloween fun which includes food, music, and much more. Celebrate the achievements of outstanding youth, meet new people and have fun!

November: Health and Recreation FairNovember 19th, 2015 - Creekside Community Centre - Get active and discover the ways that EVERYBODY can be involved in recreation! Watch fitness demonstrations, talk to experts, and discover your community! The event will feature adapted food demos and a panel discussion from local experts discussing issues pertaining to nutrition and food security. This is a chance for you to connect with professionals, programs, and resources in your community. Come see how EVERYBODY can reach their fitness, health, and wellness goals.

December: UN IDPD CelebrationDecember 3rd, 2015 - Yaletown Roundhouse - It’s Vancouver’s free community celebration at the Yaletown Roundhouse in honour of the United Nations International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Join us for live performances and entertainment, art displays, discussion, distinguished guests and much, much more. With something for EVERYBODY, we can’t wait to see YOU there!

With five well attended events spanning over four months in Vancouver, there are many opportunities for your business to gain exposure with Project EVERYBODY. From having your logo and business displayed on print material to having your business gain exposure through our website and social media channels.

Throughout the project, there are opportunities for addressing the audience whether it is through speaking opportunities or through corporate booths at one of our five events. Leading up to the campaign and throughout all five events, promotion will be a key priority and as such there will be tons of opportunities for your business to gain exposure before, and during the campaign.
