PRICING GUIde

Pricing listed is per weekly session.

FM = Facility Member pricing – If you are currently a Y facility member or sign up for a summer membership.

PM = Program Member pricing – If you’re not currently a Y facility member or if you participate in Y programs.

An annual Program Membership fee of $25 per individual or $50 per family is required to register.

SPeCIAL NeedSY staff members are trained to help children with mild to moderate disabilities. However, our facilities are not adequately staffed to work with children who need significant assistance with personal care, constant one-to-one support, or have great difficulty managing their behavior in a group setting. If your child requires specialized accommodations, please contact your local Y family branch.

PReSCHOOL / KINdeR CAMP Get your little one prepared for school success through enriching activities and hands-on learning. Led by our trained Y staff, the camp focus is on the basics of reading, writing, math, and social skills with plenty of theme-based fun included.

2 June 29 - July 3Dance! – Get moving as we learn line dancing, fusion, yoga, ballet, and Northwest African dance.

3 July 6 - 10 Ocean Discovery – Explore and learn about the wonders of the sea.

4 July 13 - 17Natives of the Northwest – Learn about Native American culture through ecology, cooking, carving, and stories.

5 July 20 - 24Young Farmers – Learn about soil, plant pathology, eating what you grow, and a farmer’s dance.

6 July 27 - 31Musicianship – Learn about different types of music and experience a Northwest African Drumming Family drum circle.

7 August 3 - 7 Get Magical – Make a magical city, learn about wizard spells, and play games.

8 August 10-14 Forest Week – Learn about the environment, create an ecology news channel, and share forest songs and stories.

9 August 17 - 21Be an Artist! – Create a masterpiece using different techniques and mediums in drawing, painting, and sculpting.

10 August 24 - 27Fabricators Ready – Build your own car, learn about Rat Rods, and have a car show.

Preschool building blocks: Who’s ready for Preschool? This camp will help to motivate and encourage your child for September. Children will learn through creating, dancing, listening to stories, and playing active games. SUMMeR dISCOVeRY CAMPWeekly themes and field trips offer opportunities for children to learn about themselves and discover the world around them. Under the supervision of our experienced staff, children engage in a variety of hands-on activities to develop, create, and explore.

To meet the needs of each child, Y Discovery Camp is state-licensed child care divided into age-appropriate groups. Each camper becomes part of a small group, supervised by a trained counselor.

Cost: $195 FM / $220 PM

Program Hours: 8:30 am -4 pm Complimentary extended care is available 6:30-8:30 am and 4-6:30 pm (extended care begins at 6 am in Marysville and Monroe only).

Camp Locations & dates: Unless otherwise stated, campers must be dropped off/picked up at the site they will be attending. Camp dates and locations subject to change based on school calendars and site availability.

*Age 5 if entering first grade in the fall.

Enjoy daily activities including archery, environmental education lessons, boating, crafts, games, and weekly themed events. Weekly field trips take campers to local parks, beaches, and nature reserves where staff and rangers lead lessons in environmental education.

SUMMeR MeALS & FUNThe Y is again partnering with the Stanwood-Camano School District supporting the Meals & Fun summer food program at Twin City Elementary. Breakfast and lunch is offered Monday-Thursday for kids and teens up to 18 years old.

YMCA dAYSOn Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday the Stanwood-Camano YMCA will provide free “Y Fun” activities from 9 am-1 pm from July 7- August 20. Activities will be held at the school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Wednesdays, kids will be transported to the Marysville YMCA for swimming and other youth development activities such as craft/science projects, outdoor games, and gym play time.

Ages: 5-12Cost: Free. Everyone is welcome.Location: Twin City Elementary

SUMMeR dAY CAMPA day camp where weekly themes and field trips offer opportunities for children to learn about themselves and discover the world around them. Under the supervision of our experienced staff, children engage in a variety of hands-on activities to develop, create, and explore.

Y-TeeNS SUMMeR SeRVICe Give back to your community, earn service learning hours, make friends, build leadership skills, and have fun. Teens spend two to three hours on local service projects each day combined with fun games and activities and occasional field trips.

July 13 - August 14 Ages: 11-18Cost: Free Program Hours: Mondays and Fridays, 10:30 am - 2:30 pm

COUNSeLORS IN TRAINING TeeN LeAdeRSHIP PROGRAMAn intensive leadership development program for teens interested in working with groups in a summer camp setting, developing strong communication, project planning and leadership skills, and building strong friendships. This program meets on Camano Island and will provide opportunities for volunteering as a day camp junior counselor later in the summer.

exPLOReR CAMP Explorer Camp is designed to cultivate exploration, fun, and creativity in special interest areas while developing the potential of every camper. Join us for half-day activities that are sure to entertain, foster team building, and develop the Y core values. Pack a lunch and sign up for the optional afternoon extension. After lunch staff will transition campers to our Slice of Summer program for games and activities.

2 June 29 - July 3Creative Design - If you like to do crafty things with your hands, this is the week for you! Learn to sew, make fun crafts, and so much more.

2 June 29 - July 3 I ♥ LEGO® - Everything is awesome! Become a master builder and design your very own LEGO® Brick creations. Imagine the possibilities!

3 July 6-10Basketball – This skills oriented camp focuses on the fundamentals of basketball. Play as a team and participate in fun games and contests.

3 July 6-10Float Your Boat - All aboard! We’re entering the Seafair Milk Carton Boat Derby and campers will be the designers, engineers, and crew of their very own boat.

4 July 13-17All Sport - Get introduced to basketball, soccer, wiffle ball, Frisbee®, and more! No matter the sport, we focus on fun!

4 July 13-17Dessert Dynasty - Create magnificent desserts of all kinds and learn the intricacies of baking and decorating. Campers will whip up cakes and cookies, homemade ice creams, and puddings.

5 July 20-24Soccer – Shoot for the goal with fundamental skill drills in kicking, passing, and moving the ball up the field. Campers will also scrimmage in teams.

5 July 20-24Super Star – Anything goes in this week of dramatic instruction in acting and improvisation. See what goes on behind the scenes, write, direct, and perform your own play.

The Mukilteo YMCA Skate Park is the place to rip, roll and drop-in this summer. Trained, caring staff lead campers in skateboarding instruction and traditional summer day camp activities. At the end of each session, skaters perform in a showcase for family and friends.

Grinders (Beginner) For the future ripper with less than one month of skateboarding experience, this camp focuses on the basics of skateboarding, including pushing, turning, and going down banked ramps. Further curriculum includes proper use of skateboarding equipment and basic terminology. This camp alternates between on-site days at The Muk and awesome trips to Puget Sound skate spots, and gives more advanced campers the chance to fine-tune basic and advanced trick.

Thrashers (Intermediate)This camp is for the skater with more than one month of skateboarding experience and can demonstrate board control and confidence with speed. Campers will alternate between on-site days at The Muk and awesome field trips to local Skate Spots, and will focus on learning new tricks such as drop-ins and ollies, and learn about park etiquette and skateboard maintenance.

Program Hours: Bus departure and return times vary based on branch and drop-off location. Please have your camper to the drop-off location no later than 15 minutes prior to bus departure time. Campers dropped off at the Mukilteo and Mill Creek locations must arrive no later than 8:15 am each morning.

Spend the week flying down the Ziptrek in Whistler and rock climbing in Squamish. Explore Stanley Park and check out wildlife at the Vancouver Aquarium. This cross-country adventure is great for campers ready for a challenge. New this year, Climb high above the tree tops through a series of suspension bridges and observation platforms to experience the outdoors in a whole new way.

xtreme Adventure Payment Policy: Balance of the fee is due 14 days prior to the start of camp session. Trips will be cancelled 13 days prior to start of camp if minimum

attendance numbers are not met. Deposits will be refunded if trip is cancelled.

ReSeRVe YOUR CAMPS & PAY YOUR dePOSITVisit our website to select your camps and pre-register your child for camp. Your deposits and final payments will automatically be calculated and billed according to the billing cycle. A non–refundable camp deposit per child/per session is due at the time of registration to guarantee your child’s reservation. The deposit will be applied to the corresponding weekly fee.

If you’re not a Facility Member, an annual Program Membership Fee is required for all campers ($25 for an individual / $50 for a family).

• Summer Discovery Camp, Mini Camps, Preschool/Kinder Prep Camps: $15/per session • Specialty, Skate, Venture, Intents, Explorer, Sports, Sky Y: $30/per session • Horse Camp, Xtreme Adventures: $50/per session

COMPLeTe THe CAMP ReSeRVATION & SAFeTY PACKeTTo ensure the safety of your camper, the Camp Reservation & Safety Information Form must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian. Be sure to select drop off locations where applicable. Download the packet and email it back to us at [email protected] or drop it off at your local Y branch.

To complete the registration process, all necessary forms must be completed, signed, and delivered to your local Y family branch two weeks before your camper’s first program session begins. If you’ve registered online, we still require hard copies of the forms for licensing and safety reasons.

MAKe YOUR FINAL PAYMeNT: Payment is due two weeks before the start of your camper’s scheduled session. If you’ve reserved your spot online, your credit card will be billed automatically according to the billing schedule.

PLeASe ReAd: Our primary goal is to keep your camper(s) safe during their time with us at camp. In order to do so, we require you to fill out the Camp Reservation & Safety Packet. To guarantee your camper’s spot in camp, all forms and the balance of your camp fee, less your original deposit, are due two weeks before the start of your camper’s scheduled session. If payment is not received by the due date, your reservation and deposit for that session will be forfeited and a “wait listed” child will be notified of the available space. Your camper cannot be accepted into camp until all completed and signed paperwork is received. For a stress-free summer, enjoy the convenience of automatic payments using your credit card.

CAMP CANCeLLATION POLICY: A camp will be cancelled at least ten days before the start date of that camp if enrollment is too low.

LATe ReGISTRATION POLICY: In order to ensure the safety of all campers, we have placed a deadline for online and in-person registration. Online registration will end one week prior to the first day of camp session. In-person registration will end Thursday at noon prior to the start of the camp week. Late registration requires Director approval. Please visit the camp home branch to register in person during that week.

ReFUNd POLICY: Camp fees may be refunded on a per-session basis, less the deposit, with one week’s prior notice only in the event of illness or family emergency. All refunds will be processed and mailed within two weeks of notification.

JOIN THe Y FOR THe SUMMeR GeT A SUMMeR YOUTH MeMbeRSHIPTo receive Facility Member camp pricing you can purchase a three-month Summer Youth Membership (for youth ages 0-18) when you register for summer camp. Y Facility Membership allows unlimited use of Y facilities and reduced fees on classes and programs. You can visit as often as you like, take classes, and use the facilities and equipment.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCeY membership and programs are open to everyone. To the extent possible, financial assistance is made available to those in need, thanks to the generosity of our donors and funding partners. Contact your local Y family branch. Financial assistance is available for all Y programs.

TeCH-FRee ZONeY Camp Directors recognize that kids need time away from technology to build friendships, explore the outside world, and experience new adventures. Each YMCA Camp is a “Tech-Free Zone” in which we ask campers not to bring cell phones, portable music or video players, or video games. Campers can bring digital cameras, as long as they are not paired with cell phone or texting technology. In the event that campers need a cell phone before or after camp, camp staff may provide a safe, secure location where cell phones can be stored during camp hours.
