ESE proudly presents, ANNIE, performed by
our wonderful 4th graders under the direction
of Mr. Whorton. Show begins promptly at 6:30.
All performers should arrive no later than 6:15
in costume. PLEASE enter through the FRONT DOORS
of the school. Please DO NOT open the cafeteria doors. This will help to keep
the cafeteria cool during the performance.

Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge ~~ Ms. Jackson would like to
challenge every student at ESE to read more minutes than their classmates this
summer. Students can log in their minutes and unlock prizes on the site along with
other games. There are also reading tips for parents. The top 100 readers
from ESE will receive a free book from the November Book Fair. Letters with login
information was sent home last week.

Once again you have shown what
a great community we live in.
Our Daisy troop collected al-
most 450 books to donate to
the homeless shelter. Mrs. Davis’ class alone
collected 127 and will be receiving a cool treat!
Our Autism awareness walk was also a
great success (despite weather
conditions) and raised over $800. Way to go ESE!!!
EAGLE SPRINGS BOOK SWAP
Get “new to you” books for Summer Reading and log your
minutes at Scholastic.com/summer! Bring in gently used
books (maximum 5) between May 13th and May 20th and
for each book donated, you will receive a ticket to come
back during the Book Swap to get a new book.
SWAP DATES: 3 ~ 5 May 21st; K ~ 2 May 22nd
Books should not have any writing, torn pages or damaged
spines and should be on your child’s level. Magazines, pam-
phlets and kids meal books do not qualify. If you have any
questions please contact Ms. Jackson at
NEWS FROM THE NURSE: Please remember to pick up any
medication you have in the clinic before
the end of school on June 4th. Nurse Amanda is not
allowed to keep medication over the summer so all
medications left will be thrown away.

student will be returning to ESE next year. Please fill these out and return them to your
teacher as soon as possible. ~~ HOME ACCESS CENTER ~~ All parents of returning
Humble ISD students must have a Home Access Account to complete the required annual
update in August. If you need assistance in creating an account or are having issues logging in to your

SUPER KIDS DAY!! Our annual field day will be held on Friday, May 29th.
Coach has all sorts of games and activities set up for a fun filled day. Join us to help make sure the day

AHS FOOTBALL CAMP has changed!!!
Camp Time: June 15 ~ 16 6:30 ~ 8:30 at Atascocita High School ~~ Cost $30 Register online at HAFL.com or on the day of camp. A new flier and more information will be coming soon.
Manners Banquet Update ~~ Manners banquet is well under way but there is still a lot of
work to do. They will be working on decorations on Wednesday, May 13th at 7:00 pm and
Sunday May 17th at 3:00 pm at The Braun home. If you are able to attend, please email
Angie at [email protected] for more information.
We will also need all hands on deck (and any ladders you may have) Thursday, May 21st at
3:30 to help decorate the cafeteria. The more volunteers we have the sooner we can all go home!!
Please remember, only those serving are allowed to attend the banquet. If you would like to volunteer to
serve, please contact your child’s teacher and let them know ASAP. Once the spots have been filled the
server list will be closed.
