After breakfast, you will be transferred to the magical city of Venice, where you will be able to admire the beautiful buildings and canals of Venice by water bus (ferry). Upon arrival, be met by a local guide at the Piazza San Marco to start a guided tour of Venice (approx. 2 hours). The tour starts at the iconic St Mark’s Square, one of the most beautiful squares in the world, and the hub of Venetian life. Around the square, you

will see the famous St Mark’s Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, and the Bell Tower (entrances not included). The church was built to house the body of St. Marc, transported from Alexandria in 828AD. The tour will continue onwards to Rialto Bridge, one of the most beautiful bridges and an icon of the city. Tour Guide:

Often locals with intimate knowledge of an area, its culture, and history. Their role entails providing commentary, routing the tour, and seeing that people have a good time. They are a licensed, qualified expert who supplies specific information on history, art, architecture and culture of the city/village/attraction in which he or she is guiding the tour. The guide meets the group at the required place and leaves the group at the end of the tour, they do not travel with the group.

Tour Leader:

An experienced person tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of tours, as well as providing practical support to passengers throughout the whole trip. Their role primarily includes assisting with accommodation, transportation between locations, and communication with tour guides in each stop. A tour leader may provide general guidance around a city or village, and offer information on the place visited on the bus, however they are not required to have specific knowledge on art, architecture, or history. They are not allowed to provide a guided tour or commentary of a city/village/attraction once there and if caught doing so, can be fined.

Rhodes in Greece can still be lovely and warm in October but the temperature drops quickly after dark. Even though the long summer days are over, October enjoys an impressive eight hours of sunshine a day. The average temperature of the sea is 22°C, still an inviting enough temperature, so hitting the beach is still a perfectly viable option. The average high temperature for October generally peaks at 24°C and the minimum temperature tends to be around 17°C. The average daily temperature is a comfortable 21°C.

Aqaba, Jordan

October weather in this sprawling city has an average high temperature of 32.7°C. This is commonly experienced in the afternoon when the sun is high. The average low temperature is at 19.9°C, so expect to endure colder evenings during your stay.

Mauritius

October is one of the best times to visit Mauritius as it’s usually dry and very warm. With an average sea temperature of a positively warm 24°C, this is perfect for swimming and watersports! On average the temperature in October stays around 23°C.

Durban, South Africa

The average minimum temperature in Durban in November is 18.3°C and the average high is 25.2°C.

Tipping for all services provided on tour is always a matter of personal discretion, however please be aware that tipping is considered by many locals to be a part of their normal remuneration and they may approach you for payment and there is no need to be intimidated by the request.

Cruise

Gratuities (tips) are not included in the tour price for the services of the cruise staff throughout the cruise component of this tour. MSC Cruise Lines is an internationally registered company & operates to US & European standards, both of which have an economy driven by a gratuities culture. Gratuities are expected on your cruise and will be charged to your onboard account at $12.50 USD per person per day. If you have any questions in regards to the gratuities on your cruise please speak to the guest services staff onboard the ship.

Sightseeing:

Please note: In the event entrance to a site is affected by changes in operating hours or public holiday closures, your itinerary where possible, will be adjusted or an similar activity will be offered in its place (subject to availability).

Shopping:

Shopping overseas can be a daunting and

confusing experience, especially when there is a language barrier. Please be very cautious when foreign currencies and prices are involved. If paying by credit card, please pay close attention to the amount you are being charged and keep all of your receipts.

Do not make any purchases you are not comfortable with or feel pressured into. If you are uncertain or need assistance with the language barrier, please seek assistance from your Tour Guide/Leader.

VISAS

Europe (Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia and Greece)

A tourist visa for Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia and Greece is not a requirement if travelling for up to 90 days on an Australian passport.

Jordan

A tourist visa for Jordan is a strict requirement if travelling on an Australian passport. The tourist visa is available for purchase upon arrival.

Israel

A tourist visa for Israel is not a requirement if travelling for up to 90 days on an Australian passport.

Seychelles

A tourist visa for Seychelles is not a requirement if travelling for up to 90 days on an Australian passport

Mauritius

A ‘free of charge’ visa is available upon arrival if staying less than 60 days when travelling on an Australian passport.

Reunion Island

A tourist visa for Seychelles is not a requirement if travelling for up to 90 days on an Australian passport.

South Africa

A tourist visa is not required for South Africa when travelling on an Australian passport.

Please note: Passengers who are not Australian citizens must check with the respective consulate or visa agency to determine what their visa requirements are and what personal identification is required. It is also important to note, some areas of employment such as journalism, government authorities and charity organisations may have additional restrictions in applying for Visas. This may in turn affect the type of application required.

Voluntary Changes

This includes booking changes requested by you, including but not limited to those changes requiring an airline ticket or a Purchase Confirmation reissue.

· 1st Change - $100.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

· 2nd Change - $150.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

· Subsequent changes - $250.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

· Changes within 30 days of departure $350.00 person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.

· Changes within 14 days of departure $500.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.



Name Changes Due To Passenger Error

· If the incorrect name has been advised to TripADeal, charges of $150.00 per person + any additional charges applied by the airline/cruise company/accommodation/other travel provider.
