cold settling on your lungs Sold by all druggists L DEATH OF AN AGED CITIZEN Mr W B McAteer aged 78 years died at his home four miles south of the city at 1030 this morning He had been In failing health for several months and was quite ill for some weeks The death of this splendid citizen father and soldier removes from our community one of its best known and most thoroughly respected citizens There are few living in the county whose arrival here antedates his Mr McAteer has resided here for over half a century or to be exact 55 1 years coming here long before the war He has been a thrifty farmer and has done much to build up and improve his county- Mr McAteer was a member of the company of soldiers made up at Ocala and serVjCd his state faithfully through the war of the rebellion in the Confederate army and has been- a member of the local camp Confed- erate ¬ veterans since its organization- He has raised a large family Eight children were born to Mr McAteer- and wife who preceded him to the better land a numper of years ago All of the children are living and grown to man and womanhood and all were gathered around his bedside when death came this morning All are married with the exception of the I two youngest daughters who remain- ed ¬ at home Mr McAteer was a devoted member of the Methodist church and attended I services regularly when his health permitted The funeral services will be con ¬ ducted from the residence at 830 to morow Sunday morning Rev R H Barnett the pastor of the church of ¬ ficiating The body will then be taken- to the grave in the old cemetery where it will be laid to rest by the side of the wife Messrs Smith Roberts will have charge of the fun- eral ¬ and burial Mr Roberts coming- up from Tampa tpnight to assist The Star extends its sympathy to the large family of bereaved children and relatives They have with them the memory of a loving father whose wise council has guided the through r- iCe to mans and womans estate and now at the close of a long and peace- ful ¬ career lays down the battle and I strife of earth to enter with the re ¬ ward that awaits him The memory of his life is In truth a I sweet benediction I COACH FROM THE LAKE- On Monday morning June 28th the Coast Line will positively put pn the passenger coach on the morning freight train from East Lake This coach will po down on the regular passenger DEATH OF AN AGED CITIZEN

Mr W B McAteer aged 78 yearsdied at his home four miles south ofthe city at 1030 this morning Hehad been In failing health for severalmonths and was quite ill for someweeks

The death of this splendid citizenfather and soldier removes from ourcommunity one of its best known andmost thoroughly respected citizensThere are few living in the countywhose arrival here antedates his MrMcAteer has resided here for overhalf a century or to be exact 55 1

years coming here long before thewar He has been a thrifty farmerand has done much to build up andimprove his county-

Mr McAteer was a member of thecompany of soldiers made up at Ocalaand serVjCd his state faithfullythrough the war of the rebellion inthe Confederate army and has been-a member of the local camp Confed-erate

veterans since its organization-He has raised a large family Eight

children were born to Mr McAteer-and wife who preceded him to thebetter land a numper of years agoAll of the children are living andgrown to man and womanhood andall were gathered around his bedsidewhen death came this morning Allare married with the exception of the I

two youngest daughters who remain-ed

of the Methodist church and attended I
