Thornwell Offering. Each year on Mother’s Day, we participate with other PCUSA churches in the Thornwell Offering. Since 1875, Thornwell Home for Children is a Presbyterian ministry that helps children and families across Florida, Georgia and South Carolina. They offer a foster care program and other family and educational support programs to encourage wholeness and healing.
