    History

    6 Fest is the sixth installment of the premier college campusoutdoor music festival. Since 2004, the Fest, which has grownexponentially since year 1, has become an Ohio tradition acrosscampuses statewide. With the traditional site of Ohio Universityalready rolling out the marketing and promotional campaigns, ourexpectations and goals are set very high.

    With considerable growth over the last five years, 6 Fest is

    expecting to substantially break attendance records fromprevious years. Over recent years, impression numbers forprevious sponsors have always exceeded expectations and weexpect the same for this year.

    A quick look at the numbers:1 Fest Athens: 4,000 in attendance2 Fest Athens: 6,200 in attendance3 Fest Athens: 7,500 in attendance

    Target Market

    The average attendee of 6 Fest fits the mold of a collegestudent. 18-26 middle class with impressionable minds.

    Your company will have direct access to our attendees throughon site activation as well as leading up to the event throughbrand recognition via our advertising mediums.

    We encourage sponsor participation in all of our pre parties aswell as the Fest date. The more chances you have to put yourbrand in front of the consumer, the better. We strive to provideas many opportunities to our sponsorship partners to get theirmoneys worth when it comes to our event.

    Venue Description

    The Athens site is an expansive outdoor setting with amplespace for over 20,000 attendees to party, dance and minglethroughout the event. The atmosphere resembles a spring breakfeel without the beach and ocean.

    On-Site AdvertisingWith over 15,000 attendees expected throughout the day, 6 Festpresents any company with a great opportunity to reach out to itsgiven target market and make an impression. The following OnSite Advertising options are offered for a given level ofsponsorship:

    The internet is our major medium of advertising. From Youtubevideos and www.Athens6Fest.com or www.6-Fest.com to SixFest Facebook and Six Fest Myspace, we have a majorpresence on the web.

    This is our biggest tool for distributing sponsors info.The following Internet Advertising options are offered for a givenlevel of sponsorship:

    Radio AdvertisingPower 105.5 FM in Athens (6 Fest Athens) and 107.1 Kiss FMin Cincinnati (6 Fest Athens) are our major radio partners.We also blast ads on Boras Radio (streaming podcast onitunes) during the week of the events. All sponsors will haverecognition in our radio ads.

    Our media coverage in the state of Ohio exists in localnewspapers, quarterly magazines, online forums and severalstudent publications at the host universities.

    Please refer to the Press section for previous print mediacoverage Print Advertising is a valuable tool for distributingsponsor info. The following Print Advertising options are offeredfor a given level of sponsorship:

    Impressions... Leave emWe can count on the popularity of this particular event tomaximize on-site advertising impressions. In addition, the mediaimpressions will greatly increase the overall marketing impact ofthis event. While the majority of the attendees will be located inthe Athens area, actual impressions will reach other campusesthrough word of mouth and print advertisements.

    We are projecting over 500,000 impressions between now andevent days. Through word of mouth, print, radio, and Internetadvertisements, we believe that 6 Fest will be discussed on

    every campus in Ohio. This event is going to be marketed as thebiggest show to ever hit Ohio University. As if they needed moreattention for partying, OU will be flooded with eager partygoersfrom all over to attend 6 Fest.

    Special Event Day Promos In order to create the type of atmosphere dedicated strictly to thecrowds enjoyment, we have come up with many specialpromotions that are sure to get the crowd going. We havecreated these special promos, including a skate demo and graffitidemo, which we know draw a great response from the crowds.

    We are giving away a 2009 car, courtesy of Ricart Mega Mall inconjunction with Dont Break the Bond (which is the mainbeneficiary of the festival.) A portion of every ticket sold is goingto help Dont Break the Bond (owned and operated by Marvin

    Warner) continue their programs interest in assisting childrenwhose parents are incarcerated. We are also hosting an auctionduring Moms Weekend on Court St. We have accumulated alarge amount of signed memorabilia from professional athletesacross the country. These proceeds will also be going to DontBreak the Bond. The Car Give-A-Way will be done during SixFest. Every individual that buys a ticket is automatically enteredinto the contest.

    Goin GREENGoing GREEN is a big thing for 6 Fest this year. We are workingto solidify a mobile solar powered hub for our energyconsumption. Instead of using a generator and gasoline to powerour festival, including all multimedia access, we are trying to cutback on unnecessary energy waste.

    We are also running a GO GREEN Clean Up campaign to helpclean the field and the surrounding areas after the event. Themoney collected from the recycling push will be given back to theAthens Community in support of their GREEN community

    programs.

    Exclusivity All sponsors will be the exclusive vendor of their particularproduct or service. This will allow your company to have solemarketing and advertising power within the audience.There will be no doubling up on a certain type of product.For example, there will only be one type of liquor or beerdistributor at the event. There will only be one type of energydrink provider at the event. By making all sponsors exclusive, itallows your company to get a stronghold on the audience. Yourcompany will not have to compete with another competingproduct or service while you are at 6 Fest. We also strongly

    encourage you to team up with fellow sponsors of the event touse all resources possible while on site, distributing your brand.
