Advert Creation

The 1975 have a very distinctive style and we want to show this with our advert whilst also ensuring that all of our products are easily recognizable by our audience as products from The 1975. Before we started the production of the advert we looked back at

the pintrest board which we initially created for inspiration. This reminded us of what The 1975’s aesthetic is and also conventions of existing adverts. We have chosen an image we had taken of a sunrise on abeach this not only shows conventions of the indie genre as the image is quite abstract but also shows a snapshot of a moment from the start of our music video that

the audience will be able to recognize, it also links to existing products from The 1975 as you can see below the sea is a common occurrence in their releases. We also recreated the famous rectangle that the band use with Photoshop.
