Management Reporting is not an enemy

of Agile practices. On the contrary.

Management reporting is part of Planning & Control, and supports centralized control. Status and progress reports help us to be ‘in control’ of what is planned. Agile methods, on the other hand, focus on increasing adaptability through more interaction, less big upfront designs and delegating decisions to self organizing teams.
