Air Cooled Condensers Direct Coil Condensers are designed for outdoor application with housing available in heavy gauge galvanized steel or aluminum or painted steel. Our engineers have designed the condenser for optimum heat transfer, ease of installation and dependable operation. The Air Cooled Condensers are engineered for superior performance, energy efficiency, quiet operation and long operational life. The Condenser coils are designed to operate with the new generation of environmentally friendly refrigerants. The condensers are available in 1140, 830 or 540 RPM fan motors in either single or double row of fans. Fan motors and blades have been selected for optimum performance at minimum noise levels. Extensive testing of the condenser ensures long and trouble-free service life. Design Features Condenser coils are constructed with smooth or rifled copper tubes with corrugated aluminum fins. All units are pressure tested and dehydrated prior to shipment The casing is made from heavy gauge galvanized steel or aluminum. Both types of enclosures provide corrosion protection for outdoor applications. Vertical air discharge unit is standard. Horizontal is optional High efficiency three phase fan motors with ball bearings and internal overload protection Internal baffles provided between all fan cells. PVC coated steel fan guards for optimum corrosion protection All Fan motor leads are wired to a weatherproof control panel to provide single- point field wiring Available Options Alternate coil construction including coated fins, epoxy or phenolic coated fins and copper fins. Air Cooled Condensers

Direct Coil Condensers are designed for outdoor application with housing available in

heavy gauge galvanized steel or aluminum or painted steel. Our engineers have

designed the condenser for optimum heat transfer, ease of installation and dependable

operation. The Air Cooled Condensers are engineered for superior performance, energy

efficiency, quiet operation and long operational life. The Condenser coils are designed to

operate with the new generation of environmentally friendly refrigerants.

The condensers are available in 1140, 830 or 540 RPM fan motors in either single or

double row of fans. Fan motors and blades have been selected for optimum

performance at minimum noise levels. Extensive testing of the condenser ensures long

and trouble-free service life.

Design Features

Condenser coilsCondenser coils are designed to withstand the high pressure and temperature associated with refrigerant condensing. Various fin and tube combinations provide design flexibility. Wider fin spacing is also available to minimize dirt and dust build-up. Optional corrosion-resistant materials and protective coatings help increase the service life of the coil.

Direct Expansion coilsDirect Expansion Evaporator coils are engineered and designed to deliver maximum heat transfer efficiency under a wide range of operating conditions. We can offer a wide variety of circuiting of coils, including interlaced Row/Face split, to meet the performance requirements of various applications.

Water coilsWater coils are designed for comfort cooling and heating applications are extensively tested and properly sized using our proprietary software. For replacement coils or those needing to fit specific dimensions, our wide range of coil and tube sizes, fin spacing, and coil connection orientations allow for a drop-in coil fit. Optional coating applied to coils or pre-coated fin stock can be offered to increase service life of coil under corrosive environments.

Custom Designed coilsThe latest technology is used to design coils for custom applications. We can offer custom coils in various tubing materials like Cupro-Nickel, Stainless steel and Aluminum tubing. Using computerized coil selection software and advanced 3D CAD software we can offer replacement and retrofit virtually any size coil.

Computerized Coil SelectionCOIL SOFTWARE FOR SELECTION OR RATING PERFORMANCE The program provides optimized designs for air cooling, dehumidifying and heating coils using chilled and hot water, ethylene and propylene glycol, evaporating and condensing refrigerants.

FeaturesCoils are designed for maximum heat transfer and performance, lower initial cost and durability. The staggered tube pattern, selection of materials and coil program play a vital role in optimizing coil selection.

Tubes are smooth seamless copper tubes manufactured to ASME specification with strict quality control. Tubes are available with smooth internal surface or internally enhanced surface to achieve high heat transfer. Tubes

are mechanically expanded into fin collars to maximize heat transfer.

Fins are aluminum and are die formed plate type. Various types of fin surfaces like sine wave, louvered or raised lance are available to maximize heat transfer with minimal air friction. Optional materials include: copper or pre-coated aluminum with corrosion resistant coating.

Headers are designed to reduce potential for leaks and provide connection locations that allow draining or venting of coils. Headers are sized to achieve low pressure drop and proper flow distribution.

Hairpin Tubes offer maximum leak protection by eliminating joints within a circuit.

Return Bends are sized to provide smooth flow with minimum pressure drop.
