Winston Pegler – President and Founding Partner of Ray & Berndtson’s Brazilian office

Winston was born in Brazil and is of English descent. He has a graduate degree in Business Administration from the “Universidade Mackenzie” in São

Paulo and post graduate extension from the “FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas”, also of São Paulo.

He has been performing in the area of executive search and professional services dedicated to human capital, since 1979, and is member of Ray &

Berndtson’s global administration board, representing the Latin American region.

His area of activities includes the following sectors:

• Professional businesses & services

• Education;

• Energy;

• Agri-business;

• Health care;

• Organizational restructuring;

• Assessment.

Previous to his professional career in the area of executive search, Winston has performed in positions ranging from management, to director and CEO,

in sectors related to professional services, consumer products and agri-business, at companies like Caterpillar, Ford, Manah, PWC and Impar, and he

contributes periodically, on human capital issues, with articles on this theme in newspapers, journals and magazines, such as Gazeta Mercantil, Você

S.A., Exame, Valor Econômico and others.

Luiz Wever – Partner and Vice President of Ray & Berndtson’s Brazilian office

Luiz Wever is a German/Brazilian citizen, with graduate degree and postgraduate extension in Business Administration from the FGV - Fundação

Getulio Vargas and the Fundação Dom Cabral/Insead.

He has been performing in the area of executive search and consulting in human capital since 1987.

His area of activities includes the following sectors:

• Consumer products (durable and non-durable) & Services;

• Health care;

• Media & entertainment;

• Sports & leisure;

• Assessment;

• Organizational restructuring;

• Coaching.

Previous to his professional career in the area of human capital consulting, Luiz performed in manager and director positions in sectors that covered

durable and non-durable consumer goods, at companies like Whirlpool and Tec Toy. Furthermore, Luiz Wever has written four books with more than

40 case histories of careers and entrepreneurship that made success in Brazil, and he also contributes periodically with articles on human capital issues

in the specialized news media, including Gazeta Mercantil, Você S.A. and others.

Ademar C. Couto – Partner- Director of Ray & Berndtson’s Brazilian office

Ademar was born in Brazil and has a graduate degree in Business Administration from the EAESP/FGV - Escola de Administração de Empresas da

Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and an MBA in Finance from the New York University (NY – USA).

He has been performing in the area of executive search and professional services dedicated to human capital since 2005.

His area of activities includes the following sectors:

• Financial services;

• Sports & leisure.

Previous to his professional career in the area of executive search, Ademar performed in manager and director positions in the financial services sector,

at companies like Societé Générale, Crédit Agricole, Chase Manhattan, Lloyd’s Bank (Multiplic) and FinancialCorp.

George Washington Mauro – Partner-Director of Ray & Berndtson’s Brazilian office

George was born in Brazil, and he has a graduate degree in Business Administration from the FMU, plus several extension courses, particularly related

to the retail trade.

He has been performing in the area of executive search and professional services related to human capital since 2004.

His area of activities includes the following sectors:

• Consumer goods (durable and non-durable) & services;

• Retail trade.

Previous to his professional career in the area of executive search, George performed in manager and director positions in the retail sector of

companies like the Grupo Pão de Açúcar, Carrefour, Grupo J. Macedo, Grupo Sendas, Bom Marché and Rede ABC Supermercados, and he

contributes periodically as lecturer at several seminars related to his area of specialization.

Roman Santini – Partner-Director of Ray & Berndtson’s Brazilian office

Roman was born in Argentina, he has a graduate degree in Business Administration from the UADE (Universidad Argentina de Negocios- Argentina),

having concluded an intensive program in Executive Coaching at the Columbia University in New York (USA).

He has been performing in the area of executive search and professional services dedicated to human capital since 2008.

His area of activities includes the following sectors:

• Non durable consumer products

•Health Care;

• Life-science (Pharmaceutical /Medical/ Diagnostics);

• Coaching;

• Assessment.

Previous to his professional career in the area of executive search, Roman performed as Regional Director for Human Resources in the sectors related

to Consumer and Life-science products at companies like Becton Dickinson, Mars and PepsiCo. Recently, he performed in this position for the Asia/

Pacific region, headquartered in Singapore and encompassing China, Korea, India, Southeast Asia and Australia/ New Zealand. Before this

assignment he exercised his capacity in the Eastern European region (Moscow), and was also responsible for the Latin American region, having lived

in Mexico, USA and Brazil.

Luis Carlos Cornetta - Partner-Director of Ray & Berndtson’s Brazilian office

Luis was born in Brazil and has a graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the ‘Escola de Engenharia Industrial de São José dos Campos’

plus several specialization courses in Brazil and abroad.

He started in 2008 his career in the field of executive search and professional services involving human capital.

His area of activities includes the following sectors:

• Information & communication;

• Telecommunications;

• Durable consumer goods.

Previous to his professional career in the area of executive search, Luis performed in manager, director and CEO positions, in the sectors of non-

durable consumer goods and telecom, at companies like Kodak and Motorola. He also contributes periodically as lecturer at several seminars of his

specialization area.

Uwe was born in Germany and he has a graduate degree in Engineering from the University of Berlin.

He has been performing in the area of executive search and in professional services involving human capital since 1995.
