Project Cargo operates under Corporate procedures that descend from Aprile Projects Integrated

We specialise totally in Project Freight Forwarding
This is the management of international forwarding contracts which are led by principals for the
purpose of moving multiple-origin materials and equipment to a project job-site. The company is aimed
especially towards project forwarding contracts for the oil, gas, petrochemical, steel and construction
industries worldwide.
We draw our strength in Project Freight Management from its highly skilled personnel
The company’s staff is dedicated to project forwarding. Most of the management and staff have
worked internationally on projects throughout the world.
The demands of a major project require a dedicated “machine”, capable and experienced in land, air
and sea transportation. The effective co-ordination of transportation logistics on this scale relies on high
standards of teamwork. The team members themselves must strive towards a common goal. The effect
can be likened to a chain, with each link relying on others in the chain.
We recognize that to succeed we must be able to provide the best in projects transportation
management. Furthermore, to cope with the total co-ordination of the project, our key project
personnel must be efficient and knowledgeable leaders, and properly accountable for their areas of
responsibility.
WHY APRILE PROJECTS?

Aprile strongly believe in empowering their front line personnel. To ensure operational control is kept centrally, the Project Manager and Team would work from a designated Project Control Centre (PCC) nearest to the Client premises with the full support of the Head Office. Geographical locations associated to the project would be covered by Aprile offices in these areas. The Project Operational Team would be empowered to make day to day commercial and technical decisions on behalf of Aprile. Similarly the individual globally based Aprile teams would also be empowered. The Project Manager will be available to travel and assist with the roll out of the system and discussions with the Client Team/Management, vendors and the local Aprile teams that will be involved. In addition, locally placed Aprile personnel will co-ordinate directly with Client vendors, from the pre-shipment and planning stage, thus expediting the cargo, information and documents to ensure cargo specifications, nature of cargo and all relevant documentation are correct.
The Project Team would become quickly conversant with all aspects of the contractual scope of work required on the project. Should it be necessary, Aprile would provide supplementary project freight management capacity wherever and whenever required, with particular regard to selected areas, such as the supervision of Out Of Gauge/Heavy-Lift movements, troubleshooting or other critical and special requirements.

A key factor for successful transportation is timely co-ordination between production and deliveries. To achieve this aim a particular Track and Trace System (T&T) is inevitably required. Aprile T&T was created preferring an open system to a turnkey one. Since every client has its own specifications and requirements, Aprile ICT team has worked on a modular approach instead of creating a pre-built application. All standard shipment information are available (i.e. Supplier details, origin, destination, mean of transport and MBL details, PoL, PoD, etc.). Among the main features: • For each of the shipments a customizable
number of details can be viewed, multiple reports created both for printing and/or export to Excel.
• Reports can be generated also with packaging details for each of the shipments being exported to Excel with an automatic group/ungroup “collapse” structure.
• For each shipment, customers can upload/download electronic documents. There is one section for client documents, one for shipper documents, and one for any agent documents.
• Client can import Packing Lists in excel format in order to extend search capabilities for package-related data and this area of the T&T system is designed based on the single customer needs whenever needed by adapting our program to the Packing List used.
