Message From The MayorWelcome to Webster Groves and Art&Air! We are proud to host one
of the region’s finest art fairs in our beautiful, friendly city.We want you to enjoy all that Art&Air has to offer. There are more than
100 artists from all parts of the country who were selected by a jury to provide their unique, creative works for our fairgoers. Think about how a painting, photograph, piece of pottery or jewelry, or other work of art could brighten your life every day.
You might want to spend some time sitting under a tree listening to the wonderful sounds of our diverse musical performances. The studio tents provide an opportunity for kids to be creative. The food vendors are offering some excellent choices for meals or for snacking. The community tent can update you on other events to attend and organizations to join.
This fair, like so many other events in Webster Groves, is driven by volunteers. There are hundreds of people who plan and implement this outstanding weekend of art to ensure its success. Many are visible today; many have worked behind the scenes.
And, while you are here in our community, enjoy all the amenities we have to offer. Visit one of our business districts, take one of our historic walks, go to a park or playground, or just take in the lovely homes, architecture and gardens.
See you at the Fair!
Gerry Welch - Mayor
On the Cover: Thank you to the artists whose work is featured on the cover. Left to right, front to back: Jennifer Wiggs, Jan Byron, Lindsey Tull, Cameron Smith, Garry McMichael, Robert McClelland, Julie Hartman and Jake Johnson.
