LMDNART SCIENCE

Performing arts are art forms in which artists use their voices and/or the movements of their bodies, often in relation to other objects, to convey artistic

expression. Performing arts include a variety of disciplines but all are intended to be performed in

front of a live audience.

PERFORMING ARTSPlastic arts are art forms which involve physical manipulation of a plastic medium by moulding or modeling such as sculpture or ceramics. The term has also been applied more broadly to all the visual arts (such as painting, sculpture, film and photography)

VISUAL/PLASTIC ARTS

Interactions in both directions

La Mandarina de Newton curated the exhibition Nano Dimension. In this exhibition there was a section called the gallery, where artists were to propose different creations from nanoscopic observations of the world.

From la Mandarina de Newton we collaborated with the Col·legi de Metges de Barcelona in this exhibition on medical and scientific illustration. In this case it was through the participation of primary school pupils.

La Mandarina de Newton vàrem ideated and coordinaed this project that was put in contact general public with artists, via scientific topics.

SOME QUESTIONS

Analyse many transdisciplinary projects and try to see common and different aspects of them.

The more you map, the more you will understand the context.
