NEWS FROM THE HANDICAP
COMMITTEE
The USGA and the Fox Run Handicap Committee rely on the
membership to ensure that the club abides by and enforces the
rules of golf.
We are asking that all players turn in your scorecard to the golf
shop after play. Please make sure someone signs and attests your
scorecard before turning it into the golf shop. A box for
scorecards is located in the golf shop. Please make sure your
score is posted accurately when you play.
Peer review is an integral part of the Handicap process. If you
see something, say something. Bring an issue to the attention of
the Pro Shop or to whoever is running the group you belong to
(552, Dempsey Group, Players, Seniors or Ladies). The Fox Run
Country Club Handicap Committee wants to thank the
membership for all the positive strides we've made recently and
we hope everyone has a great summer. We would also like to
thank David, Patsy and the Pro Shop staff, the ladies in the Grill
Room and Tony and the grounds crew for all the good things
going on at Fox Run.
Enjoy the Summer.

Greetings from the Grounds
I am sure everyone is aware that we have punched the greens for late summer aerification, we used 3/8
inch hollow tines and we are continuing to topdress and drag the greens to fill the holes this will help in
the healing process. We are also punching the tees currently and will be dragging in the plugs as we do
in the fairways and then blowing the debris of the tee tops. I would like to thank one and all that came
out for the member work night as I have said in the past this a very special place where members come
out and give of their time and volunteer their time and labor. Thank you very much it really helped us
out! I hope the course was in decent shape for the Member Guest, moving forward we are gearing up
for Club Championship and hope to have everything in order by then.
