    Abilities: - Lead a small team of designers in the creation of game and toolset UI and a sophisticated controls paradigm. - The right candidate will be a specialist at making complex game ideas and actions simple. - Strong Communication and management skills. Must play well with others. - Work closely with Design Director and other Design Leads to achieve a shared vision. - Work with artists to achieve appropriate visual style. - Must be able to both envision and implement; this is not a document-only position. - Background in Human Factors Engineering, ISO 9000, and other quality and usability methodologies is strongly desired. Functional Knowledge: - Ideal candidate has a thorough knowledge of many different 3D and 2D packages and can discuss the merits of their user interfaces in great detail. - Technical knowledge sufficient to communicate functionality to engineers. - Artistic knowledge sufficient to communicate visual nuances to artists.Compensation:- Salary: Based on experience $50 - 90k;- Benefits: 401k, Health insurance, and performance bonus- Environment: Casual and collaborative.     Job DescriptionThe User Interface Designer is taking an important part of game design team, analyzing game design document, designing UI layout document and creating interaction prototype,he/she works close with UIteam members(UI artists, UI programmers) to give player the best user experience.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop concept and design of the game menus and user interfaces. Is involved in game-play discussion in collaboration with game designer and artist. Assure that game information is well conveyed through the various user interfaces. Build basic UI mockups and prototype to support his concepts ideas. Program front-end code for web-base game.Job RequirementsGood analytic skills. Knowledge of at least 1 front-end programming language (Flash, Flex, XHTML/CSS and etc). Knowledge of design tools (Axure Rp, Photoshop, Flash, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and etc). Interesting on aesthetics and ergonomics. Interesting on Social Network Site (Facebook, Xiaonei, Kaixin, Myspace and etc...). Degree in graphic design, web design, ergonomics or relevant work experience Good communication skills in both English and Chinese. Passion for creating and playing game.
