Epic Feast Pty Ltd trading as Epic Building predominantly focusses on design and construct for the groups developments across the range of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. This company became more active after the sale of Hunter Johnson Homes, owned by Petar Jurkovic.

The most recent major project for Epic Building was completing a three storey, twentynine apartment complex with undercroft parking on the reclaimed Ray Street, Findon site.

Preliminary design is underway for construction of a two hundred and thirtysix apartment retirement village as well as two residential apartment blocks for the site; a three storey- twentytwo apartment complex and a three storey forty apartment complex, also with under croft parking. Once completed, the 7.5ha Ray Street Development at Findon will be valued at over $100m.

Adelaide Resource Recovery

Established 2004

Recycling construction and demolition waste on our 20 hectare site, Adelaide Resource Recovery crushes in excess of half a million tonnes of concrete and brick annually to produce recycled rubble, sands and aggregate to engineering specifications.

Adelaide Resource Recovery is a prequ.alified supplier for Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure projects.

Mixed construction waste is sorted manually as well as with automated equipment, and the separated material is sold as recycled raw materials locally, nationally and overseas. More than 85% of waste material brought on site is recycled into valuable commodities.

Adelaide Resource Recovery is currently capping the Wingfield landfill. Total cost of the 80ha project will be M excess of $20m.

The first stage involved laying a Geotechnkal Clay liner over a prepared sub base and sub grade. Sand was then laid over the top of the clay liner to act as protection.

Epic 2000

Established 1999

Epic2000 focuses on the remediation of contaminated land. A recently completed and notable project was the successful reclamation of a 7 hectare contaminated domestic landfill site at Ray St, Findon, and the first project of its kind in South Australia.

This work included the removal of more than 500,000 tonnes of debris. The site was excavated to a depth of 5 metres below ground level accross the 7 1/2 hectares. Viable soils were reclaimed and used for backfilling where required. All plastics, metal, glass and rubble were recycled and the land was compacted ready for redevelopment.
