Masses for the Week For those of you who have been asking if the Bishop will extend his dispensation from attendance at Sunday Mass past the June 30 deadline the answer will be found in the letter below. The numbers of participants at Masses this past weekend were 78 at 4.:30 p.m. Mass, 75 at 9:00 a.m. Mass, and 60 at 11:00 a.m. Mass. “Dear Friends in Christ, For almost a month now we have had the oppor-tunity to resume public Masses in the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Our pastors and parish staff are very happy to see you again! The diocese has provided detailed guid-ance on safety and sanitization protocols to our pastors. The diocese’s guidelines were reviewed by doctors in West Michigan, including an infectious disease expert. Their confidence in our precautions assured me that we could responsibly resume the all-important task of cele-brating the Eucharist together. The logistics for how these directives are implemented will be different for each par-ish. Please watch your parish website or social media, or call the parish office for details. I remind those who are able to attend Mass to abide by the diocesan/parish guidelines in order to protect your fellow congregants as well as yourselves and your loved ones. I thank you for your cooperation and especial-ly thank pastors who are doing their best to see that eve-ryone who comes to church remains as safe as possible by observing the guidelines. While I believe we have done our best to protect the health and well-being of our parish-ioners, I am well aware the risks of COVID-19 remain. Therefore, I am extending the dispensation for all Catholics within the territory of the Diocese of Grand Rap-ids from their obligation of attending Sunday Mass through July 31. The dispensation is granted broadly to ensure that anyone who needs to stay home to protect the com-mon good can do so confidently, in good conscience. But those who are truly able to attend Mass should remember that we are transformed by being joined to Christ in the Eucharist. Only a weighty reason should keep us from being sanctified through participation in and our reception of Christ’s body and blood. Our obligation to keep holy the Lord’s Day is of utmost importance to our continued faith life. Mass will continue to be televised at 10 a.m. Sunday on FOX 17 and livestreamed on the diocesan website (grdiocese.org) and Facebook page (Diocese of Grand Rapids). Please continue to check the diocesan website: http://bit.ly/GRdioceseCOVID19Updates and social media for the latest information on our COVID-19 response. In this time of trial and testing, may we all love and care for one another and be patient and kind. We entrust our prayers to the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes, patroness of those who suffer illness. Sincerely yours in Christ,

Most Reverend David J. Walkowiak Bishop of Grand Rapids”

Would you like to give the gift of Catholic School

Education?

Many of our parish families struggle to afford Catholic school tuition. Some decide they simply can't afford it, even though they want to provide their children with the blessings that such an education provides. Now you can help. All Saints Academy's Tuition Angel program makes it pos-sible for you to donate to ASA, and direct your donation to help a young-ster learn and grow in God's word. Make a real difference in the life of a child. Please call 364-9453, or go to our web page at www.asagr.org./tuition-angel-program to learn how you can make a difference to-day...and for years to come.

Support the Parish School

With Amazon Smile!

If you shop on Amazon, please con-sider using Amazon Smile (https://smile.amazon.com), and designating your support for All Saints Academy. With no other effort on your part, a portion of your purchases will be sent to ASA. Just remember to login to your Amazon Smile site each time you order - the prices are the same.

You can make your CSA donation by credit card online by visiting our parish website. On the main page there is a link to the Diocese of Grand Rapids website, grdiocese.org. That link will tell you how to make your donation. Don’t forget to reference Blessed Sac-rament when filling out the form.

Summer or Covid-19 Tithing

Now that summer is here and many of you will be away on vacation, have you remembered to drop off your contribution envelopes? If not, automatic giving might be a good solution for you. You can make your weekly or monthly Parish con-tribution via an automatic deduction from your checking or savings ac-count. You can find a form in the stewardship tower in the narthex, in the Parish Office or on our website. Fill out the form and return it to the Parish office by mail, hand deliver it, or you can drop it in the collection basket at Mass on the weekend.
