BLOOD COVENANT OF JESUS CHRIST – Jim Christian

    Ephesians 2:12-19, Psalms 25:14, 118:22-24

In these above scriptures there are some very revealing details that form the basic outline of what

we are to have in attitude, desire and benefits. Our attitude has to be one of Psalm 25:14 …thesecret of the ord is with them that fear !im" and !e will shew them !is Covenant. #e need to

have such an attitude of honor to what the ord has done for us and $eep that heart so that !e

can reveal !is Covenant to us. #e can $now what it says but to truly understand something, we

must have it in our hearts. %od desires to show this Covenant in our hearts and we need to see!is desire is to do that. &ut !is 'pearl of great price( )that which is holy* is not going to come to

those of 'swine mentality(. +o learn to $eep a gentle heart before the ord and see !is revelation

come to pass in your life.

#e have already been given the ame of -esus, !I+ O/, Authority, 0ower and 1ominion,

according to the #ord. !owever we do not understand the Covenant 2 what it means to totallygive oneself to that partner, as even Abraham did 2 for he became a 'father of faith( on a inferior

covenant to ours. It was made by blood of animals, while ours was established by the &lood of

    -esus…

1Corinthians 11:25 spea$ of the covenant 2 This cup is the ew Covenant )Testament, ratified

agreement established …* in My &lood. There is not one thing you can add to or ta$e away fromthis Covenant, for -esus made it with !is Own &lood on our behalf. All that is re3uired of me is

that I believe in it with all my heart. +trong faith comes out of understanding with my heart and

soul the plan of %od. #hat !is will is 2 and the #ord declares !is plan4 It is when we receive

the engrafted )to set or fi5 deeply and firmly, implanted* #ord of %od that is able to save oursouls, then we can be doers of the Word , getting the victorious results that %od has planned all

    along. James 1:21,22

#e also need to notice here in these scriptures that this Covenant was made on our behalf 2 for

our benefit. #e were strangers to !is Covenants of promise with Israel, no hope in this world.

#hat an edict4 6ou want to tal$ of being between roc$ and a hard place… Then we see by faithwe have been given access to the throne room of %od through the &lood of -esus, %O764 ow

we are household and a home )habitation* to the 0resence of the !oly +pirit, and eternal

relationship with %od, and all !is benefits, 0raise the ord4

    +o well did 1avid prophesy victory to us4 This what 1avid prophesied in 0salm 889:;;ing, %od, /ternal ife,

0reservation* … the stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner…

)the head of the church*, This is the day which the ord hath made" we will reoice and be glad

in it. May I as$, what day is this that 1avid spea$s ofJ It is the day of the ew Covenant, andwe do reoice and we are glad in it, %O76 TO %O14 This should be our desire, to glorify the

Lord Jesus Christ in all He has done for us.

1r. >enneth !agin tells a story of poor servant lady of rich woman, whom she served faithfully

for many years. Through the course of time, the rich lady passed away, but left a will and

testament, and gave a document to the servant lady to $eep. +he hung it on her wall and framedit. ater when she was sic$, her pastor came to visit and read this document. !e as$ed her

whether she $new what it said or not. The servant lady did not $now how to read and so didn(t

$now what it said. +he had lived for many years in poverty after the rich lady had passed on. The

pastor informed her that document promised her to be able to leave in relative financial securityfor the rest of her life. +he had lived in ignorance of what was hers by last will and testament.

Many people do the same each day as Christians. Hosea 4:6, saiah 5:1! tell us that through a

lac$ of $nowledge many of %od(s saints, we have been shortchanged of what %od has blessed us

with through our ord and +avior -esus Christ. #e have got to learn what is ours from the #ordof %od, ma$e our demand in faith upon that #ord from %od, to ta$e bac$ from the devil

everything that he has stolen from the church" to apprehend of what %od has accomplished for usthrough -esus Christ.

Hor many years, bits and pieces of revelation have made parts of the covenant more real eachday. The reason for this study is to help even one to get more from it, to understand ust how %od

made it possible for us to be oint heirs with -esus Christ, "omans 8:1#,29, conformed to the

image of !I+ +O. Than$s be to %od for !is indescribable gift. Haith gives us all equal

opportunity to receive the promised benefits, as we all will see throughout this study. et usunderstand this one thing about faith in the Covenant 2  It is impossible to make a claim toreceive in faith from Father God, if you do not know what right or benefit that you are asking

for . #hat I am saying is this… if you don(t $now whatever you are as$ing for !is will for you,how can you as$ in faith for the promised blessing… $aith %e&ins with a 'nowled&e o( His will

and testament ) *HE +. C/E00*, "omans 1:1# $aith that wins is always

went to bed he would remember the %od, #ho was his abundant compensation, #ho said that

his seed would outnumber the stars. !e reminded himself of this and gave %od the praise everynight as he went to bed…

)enesis 22:1#,18* and if that wasn(t enough, !e told Abraham to loo$ to the sands of theseashore, and try and count that4 #hat a reminder to his faith. Abraham loo$ up and praise me

saiah 41:8, James 2:2!, spea$ing of enesis 15:6 says that Abraham was the friend of %od.

1oes not that indicate ust what a close relationship Abraham had with %odJ

-esus the witness… alatians !:8... -esus was witness to this agreement, because %od preached

the %ospel unto Abraham, saying that... Pin thee shall all nations be blessed.P

enesis 1#:21-2# 1oes not the fact that all these men willfully submitted themselves to being

circumcised spea$ volumes about the witness and testimony of the life of Abraham, how he

wal$ed in communion together in faith with %od AlmightyJ 1oesn(t that show the faithfulnessof Abraham to wal$ in the Covenant with %od, that his men would follow him to such an serious

    and solemn time as thisJ

AbrahamKs Intercession…enesis 18:1#-!! ...%od had such faith in his covenant partner, !isfriend, that !e actually shared !is thoughts with Abraham and allowed Abraham to intercede for

    the righteous. %odKs report of Abraham was that Pfor I $now himP, )89:8G* #ow4 )Jo% 22:!*

Abraham had such a faithful report from the ord…

< a Covenant man,< in command of and faithful in raising his children and household,

< will hold to ustice and udgment,< that the ord may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spo$en to him,

    . "EB*B

enesis 22... Abraham is an old man, ta$es Isaac to sacrifice.

Abraham believes %od will provide a sacrifice or raise up Isaac from the dead because the

covenant promises were to come through IsaacKs seed.

Isaac must have had faith in the covenant too or he could have stopped Abraham from the

sacrifice. )Isaac was about twenty years old. Could have easily stopped an old man.* !e $new%od would raise him up too4 !e believed %od too4 And he also saw and lived with Abraham. !e

saw the promises of %od and the blessings of %od upon Abraham in such a supernatural way 2

he $new %od was good and following !im was the thing to do…

&ecause they both believed, they set a precedent. %od then had the right and privilege to send

!I+ +O to the earth, as an offering for our sin nature. %od then could send !is only +on to die.

!e could allow the shedding of !is blood for the remission of our sins, and raise -esus up on our behalf, being the first born )He%rews 1:6, "omans 8:29, Colossians 1:15,18* of many brethren,

ma$ing us the new creations by faith )2Corinthians 5:1#* that we are now in Christ -esus. #e

literally now are a brand new species of being, that never before e5isted.

%od remembers…E@od3s 2:24,25 ...%od heard their groaning and remembered !is Covenant

with Abraham, with Isaac, and with -acob

Moses intercedes… E@od3s !2:1!,14...Moses reminded %od of !is Covenant. t seems thatthe Coenant had s3?h an awesome respe?t (rom %oth od and Doses, and $oses changed
