Pam McDonough moved and David Arenas seconded a motion for the adoption of the agenda. Chair Rhodes called for a vote, and the motion was approved unanimously. Pam McDonough moved and Glyn Ramage seconded a motion to approve the minutes of the January 14, 2020 meeting. Chair Rhodes called for a vote, and the motion was approved unanimously. PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK:
The Chain O'Lakes Conservation Area and State Park is a 62-building facility established in 1950. The scope of work provides for replacing approximately 11,000 square feet of flat and steep sloped roofing on 5 buildings. Systems include both asphalt laminated shingles and adhered membrane roofs. The work also includes partial deck replacement, shingles, underlayment, membrane, insulation, metal edging, flashings, metal gutters and downspouts.
The Illinois Beach State Park is a 64 building facility established in 1880. The scope of work provides for replacing approximately 400 square feet of flat roofing on the Access Facility Building and making repairs. The work also includes coating 10,000 square feet of roof at the Camp Logan Office/Workshop. Systems include adhered membrane, insulation, metal edging, flashings, primer and a 2-ply elastomeric roof coating.
There are no MBE/WBENBE goals applied to the A/E team but participation is encouraged.
