Bomb Calorimeter DNG ZR The DNG-ZR is an Automatic Microprocessor controlled Isoperibol Bomb calorimeter used for rapid determination of Gross Calorific Value of solid or liquid fuels. It consists of a temperature-controlled water jacket with a built-in water circulating system with chiller. The design is compact with minimum space requirement. The model has automatic bucket filling system. Special auto stop and auto draining joints are equipped to change the water in the system. The model has been developed as per IS-1350 Part-II, ASTM-D5865 & other relevant DIN, ASTM, BIS and ISO standards. The model is equipped with USB communication ports for reporting to a printer supplied with the equipment. A Windows based software is used for user friendly operation. The equipment can store data for 1000 test results. To ensure minimal heat leak and long service life, both the outer case and the water jacket are made of a high strength, Stainless steel. Parts are assembled into a sturdy, light weight structure which can be used in a corrosive laboratory atmosphere. Chiller unit is made of copper for good corrosion resistance and proven heat transfer characteristics. Inner bucket chamber is made of SS for good heat conductivity for giving precise results.
DNG has come up with intuitive and user friendly software which can be customized for user preferences. Calorific values can be reported in any of several measurement units. Thermo chemical corrections for Halogen, Sulfur, Nitrogen, Moisture and Ash are provided. Easy data handling, with convenient storage and customizable reporting. The software can be used in two modes for obtaining results – Precision and predictive.
Suitable gas filling arrangements with proper regulator, cylinder and gauges for line/vessel pressure and all necessary attachments. The gas filling arrangement shall take care of the safety of the combustion vessel.

With the semi-conductor water refrigeration system, the instrument can automatically determinate the refrigerating capacity and balance the circulation system according to the calorific value of previous time. Thus the water temperature can be kept constant, and the influence of environment can be greatly reduced. Perfectly solved the problem that the tests cannot be made continuously after 4-5 tests have been made because the temperature difference between outer bucket water and environment exceeds 1.5°C
WATER REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
Thick walled (High Pressure) Acid resistant Bomb & Vessel having internal volume 250 to 350 ml weight not more than 3.25 kg with proper insulation, arrangement and capable of withstanding high pressure and fit for safely burning samples liberating up to 10000 calories per charge with Oxygen Pressure up to 40 atm.
BOMB AND VESSEL
The - ZR model will generate its energy equivalent (EE) value from a series of standardization tests, calculating a mean value from operator defined number of the last standardization test for each bomb/bucket combination. The user can enter the maximum standard deviation he will accept and the calorimeter will advise him if his tests fail to meet this criteria.
