STEP II WEEKEND PLANNED

The Co-Ed Weekend will be Sept. 6th- 9th, 2012. Attend a Step ll

weekend experience for post Cum Christo folks: Unlike the Cum Christo,

this retreat is for both men and women and can be attended as often as

desired. It’s intent is to strengthen the faith of the participant, as well as

support, nurture and renew a desire to work as laity in the Catholic Church.

The weekend will be held at St. Anthony’s Parish

Hall in Laurel. Applications are available at the church

entrance, or Ultreyas Applications can be sent to:

Congratulations to

James Vanderloos & Jackie Relihan Who were wed on July 28, 2012 in Pittsburg, PA. . The young

couple will make their home in Point Lay,

Alaska where James is employed as a teacher.

We wish them much love, happiness, and a life

rooted in God’s graces.

"Meet Our Seminarians" THIS SUNDAY August 5th

Father Leo McDowell, Diocesan Vocation Director, invites all area

Catholics to come meet our five diocesan seminarians at 4 p.m., Sunday,

August 5th at the Knights of Columbus hall located at 2216 Grand

Avenue. Refreshments will be served. There is no charge to attend. This

is your opportunity to meet the men that will be serving us as priests for

many years to come. Please come to show your support for these men.

The event is sponsored by area Knights of Columbus councils.

NOTICE : It’s time again for Father

Tom’s visit home to Ireland: July 29th until

August 25th. We wish him God’s blessings

for a safe and a wonderful trip, lots of his

favorite Gaelic sports and a good rest!

“We are asking for applications from those Seniors who graduated last

month. The KC’s be sponsoring two $500 Scholarships in the name of

Stanley Rubel ! Knight, Benefactor, and St. Anthony Parishioner of fond memory.

faithfully as secretary for so many years.

Laurel Ultreya: Monday August 6th,

Our speakers will be May & Darrell Magnus (who just celebrated their

50th wedding anniversary-congrats!). There's sure to be faith, close

moments and laughter with this fun couple. Come join us!

August 15 Mass for the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

St. Patrick will celebrate three Masses: Tuesday, August 14, Vigil Mass at

6:00pm , Wednesday, August 15, Masses at 6:30am and 12:10pm .

The Mass for Vocations will be combined with the Vigil Mass on Tuesday.
