providing a diverse array of construction support services including Wind/Solar
Farm construction and maintenance, Groundworks/Excavation, Contract Plant
and Labour hire, Rail Shutdown Procurement and Plant and Equipment

Our clients are predominantly based in the Rail, Utilities and renewables sector
where we typically provide construction and plant hire support during the
development of new and existing infrastructure projects. In many cases this
includes provision of services from site investigations through to operational
support and post-construction / maintenance.
Our ongoing success is due to the tailored level of service we provide to each of
our clients; we recognise that every project is different and requires a unique
approach.
We are building on our experience in innovative construction techniques and
increasingly focusing on the unique challenges posed by fast paced industry
sectors, such as the Rail Industry.

works associated with new rail infrastructure construction and renewal.

• OCON Services was born in the field – from mobile field technicians and onsite
diesel specialists.
• The Company ensures our people are highly trained, experienced and
knowledgeable in all aspects of mining, earth-moving and Transport
equipment. At OCON, we understand the importance of quality workmanship
and good work ethics, as well as the importance of having mature and reliable
ground personnel on site to ensure productivity is maximized.
• Our Mechanics and Fitters are OEM trained and certified, and come fully
equipped with either a 4×4 trucks, or, heavier duty service and lube vehicles.
• Our commitment to safety is one of our top priorities, all staff have been
trained to industry standards on safety. We understand the importance of

OCON Services processes asphalt, concrete, medium-hard rock and
general rubble, and provides a service of preparing product from original
state to requested complete recycled product. We also provide Topsoil
and Material Screening Solutions to suit specific Client Requirements

Behaviour Based Safety Policy
This Company policy statement applies to all activities undertaken by
OCON Services Pty Ltd. and impacts upon all Company employees, key
suppliers.
Goals of Policy Observe, identify and mitigate at-risk behaviors - Positive discussions to increase awareness in a proactive manner. - Reduce at-risk behaviors that lead to incidents
• OCON Services will conduct observations of employees work
behaviour in an indiscriminating fashion
• We will address training on the observation process and encourage
feedback from all employees in the process.
• In Conjunction with the OCON Services Quality Policy and continually
improving the effectiveness of the management system; ensuring
that our Integrated Management System meets the requirements of
AS/NZS ISO9001:2008 we will be setting measurable goals,
providing/supporting ongoing training and constantly recording,

CONFINED SPACES
Code of Practice This Code provides practical guidance on how to meet the requirements under the WHS
Regulations in relation to work carried out in a confined space. It applies to persons
conducting a business or undertaking who have management or control of a confined
space, and to designers, manufacturers or suppliers of plant or structures that include, or
are intended to include, a confined space.
This Code will help determine when a space is a ‘confined space’ for the purposes of the
WHS Regulations, what the potential hazards are and how to eliminate or minimise the
risks when carrying out work in a confined space.
This Code can also be used by workers and their health and safety representatives
interested in understanding the hazards and risks associated with confined spaces.
