JOB classificaon: operator 1 CAT 6030 FACE SHOVEL Primary Skills & Qualificaons • 5 years of experience operang a CAT 6030 hydraulic shovel or equivalent equipment and/or successful compleon of applicable Baffinland training program • Able to follow complex dig plans Secondary Skills & Qualificaons baffinland.com • Ability to understand and execute oral and wrien instrucons and to interpret technical manuals and specificaons as required. • Previous mining experience is an asset. • Able to liſt up to 50 lbs. • Able to work outdoors in all-weather condions • Physically fit to perform all aspects of job Informaon Primary skills and qualificaons as noted in this document are mandatory. Responsibilies Examples of Supporng Documents: • Relevant Cerficates from Baffinland recognized training instutes • An authorized document from a former employer verifying previous experience • Perform all tasks assigned by the Supervisor. • To follow all procedures and policies as set by the company. • To fill out all forms required for daily operaon of an assigned unit. • To follow the Safety Plan as specified by the company and to accept the training to do so. • Perform pre and post-operaonal checks of equipment as well as assisng and performing other dues
