Use:Fire extinguishing in commercial, public and residencial buildings, hotels,hospitals, supermarkets and industrial application, using non-aggressive cleaned water without fibrons or abrasive substances.
OperationThrough the jockey pump, with automatic start and stop by pressure switch,dimensioned to not supply flow and pessure for one single sprinkler, avoiding the start of the main pump, the system is kept on pressure.In case of a lower pressure value caused by water request, not compensatedby jockey pump, the main and reserve pumps start in sequence.Automatic start and manual stop by switch are in front of the panel.
ConstructionDepending on the power, booster system built on single base plate or in a modular version. A solid structure in welded and painted steel profile with support brackets for an easy handling.
Main pump/standby pumpHorizontal single stage norm pump with spacer coupling, axial suction, radial discharge, end suction and back pull out, coupled to electrical or diesel motor with nominal power higher than the power requested by the pump in every condition : from zero flow to the flow corresponding with NPSHr 16 mca, as indicated in the EN 12845 (point 10.1 b).
Jockey pumpVertical multistage centrifugal pump able to maintain the pressure level on the plants, series WILO MVIL 1.
Control panelBuilt in compliance with the CEI and EN 12845 standards for main/standby pump,protection class IP 54. is supplied with a control panel mounted on specific supports.
