    A Valor minis t ry video t i t l e d "God and the Mi l i t a ry , "o r ig in a l l y re leased in 1997 by Nelson and Hudson Publ ish ing ,was r e - re leased on DVD in 2005 fo r d i s t r ibu t ion by CCC'sMil i ta ry Minis t ry , and i s cur ren t ly included in the Mil i ta ryMin i s t ry ' s "Chapla in ' s Boxes."The speaker a t the event was Tommy Nelson, Pasto r , DentonBible Church, Denton, TX.     CCC s t a t e s th e fo l lowing reason fo r t a rge t ing of bas ict r a in ing i n s t a l l a t i ons : "Young r e c ru i t s are under g re a tpressure as they en te r th e mil i t a ry a t t h e i r i n i t i a l t r a in inggateways. The demands of d r i l l in s t ruc t ions push r e c ru i t sand new cadets to the edge. This i s why they a re most opento the 'good news. ' We t a r g e t spec i f i c loca t ions , l i keLackland AFB and For t Jackson, where l a rge numbers ofmi l i t a r y members t rans i t ion ea r ly in t h e i r ca ree r . MRFF cons iders roughlytwenty minutes of t h i s two-hour spec ia l to be in v io la t ion ofmi l i t a r y regula t ions , the U.S. Code, and the U.S.Const i tu t ion .On June 20, 2008, p l a i n t i f f MRFF sen t a l e t t e r to Secre ta ryof Defense Rober t M. Gates demanding an i nves t iga t ion by theDoD Inspec to r General in to the mi l i t a r y par t i c ipa t ion in t h i sspec ia l . MRFF c i t ed seven spec i f i c segments of the spec ia lin t h i s l e t t e r , inc lud ing the opening number of the concer t ,"People of God."
