when misused, can have

immediate repercussions for the

land, animals, and residents of a

region.   

LIFE Program

Project leaders work in cooperation

with DEP’s LIFE program (Learning

in Florida’s Environment), an

initiative

to establish a series of field-based,

environmental-science education

programs around the state.

Outreach Project is funded by a

grant from the Florida Department

of Environmental Protection and

managed by Chipola Science

Department faculty with Chipola

staff support.

Project Awareness

In an effort to publicize the Ground Water Outreach Project, Chipola instructors and staff produce a newsletter periodically and maintain a web presence on the Chipola website.
