Hospitality Sunday
The Faith & Evangelization Committee will be serving refreshments after both masses on Sunday, October 8th. You are invited to use this event to catch up with friends as well as a time for fellowship and community building with members of your Christ the King family. We will also be celebrating those commissioned as catechetical and religious education ministers.
Attention All Altar Servers!
There is a very important altar server training and pizza lunch on Saturday, October 14 at 10:00 am in the church. All servers are asked to make every effort to attend this training as there are several changes that you need to learn. Please contact Alex Thompson at [email protected] to let him know that you will be attending.
Do You Love Working With Children? Would you like to help the children of Christ the King Parish grow in their relationship with God? Parents, gransparents and teens 16 or older are all welcome to help in this important ministry. Children’s Liturgy involves one Sunday or Saturday a month. We want to start offering Children’s Liturgy program at the 9:00 am Mass and need leaders. Leaders are needed for the 5:00 pm Saturday mass and either the 9:00 am or 11:00 am Sunday masses. Training is provided and all materials are supplied for you. If you are interested in joining this rewarding ministry OR have questions, please contact the Children’s Liturgy Coor-dinator Eyton Embury at [email protected]
On Sunday, October 8 at 11:00 am Mass, Christ the King parish will be celebrating and commissioning all those who are involved in the catechetical and religious education ministries:
Children's Liturgy leaders, RCIA team, Bible Study team, Baptism and Sacrament Preparation teams, Youth Ministry and teachers within our school system.
Please join us for Hospitality Sunday in the hall to celebrate their commissioning.
October Rosary Starting Sunday, October 1st and every weekend in October, the Mass Coordinator will lead one decade of the rosary at the opening of the mass.
Knit & Chat - In addition to needing yarn we also would like to have more knitters and crocheters join our group. At the present time we are making mitts to give to the schools in our area. Baby blankets, afghans, etc are given to those in need. Please contact the parish office at 306-586-9020for more information.

Mass of the De-Consecration of the Immaculate Conception Church Building, Qu’Appelle
All are warmly invited to attend a Mass with Archbishop Donald Bolen for the De-Consecration of the Immaculate Conception Church Building in Qu’Appelle. The parish building has been permanently closed due to structural defects and the Immaculate Conception Parish is now sharing the historic building of St. Peter’s Anglican Parish in Qu’Appelle. The Mass of De-Consecration for the Parish Building will be held on Thursday, October 12 at 7:00 pm in the old church. A reception will follow in St. Peter’s Anglican Church.
A Public Square Rosary rally will be held at noon,
