TURTORING AND MENTORING SERVICE PROJECT. THE ALPHA Achievement Program is register ing gir ls in Grades 4,5,6,7,8,9, for the One-on-One Tutoring and Mentoring Service Project that will be given by Yale University students and professionals on Saturdays at Saint Thomas More Catholic Center in the Yale Campus at 268 Park St., New Haven from 1:30-

3:00pm. Starting October 7,2017 until April 7, 2018. The fee is $60.00 for the academic year. ALPHA is a supplementary educational program which promotes academic excellence and character development among Connecticut youth. To register, please call 203-393-3396 or email: [email protected].

Little Sisters of the Poor! On the weekend of October 28, and October 29, 2017 the Little Sisters of the Poor will be visiting our Parish. The collection taken for them will be exclusively for the care of the elderly poor who reside with them at St. Joseph’s Residence in Enfield. The Little Sisters of the Poor have been serving the need of the elderly poor in Connecticut ad Western Massachusetts for over 100 Years, They are most grateful for your generosity

Confirmation Service Opportunities The Bethany Garden Club is in need of assistance at its 50th Anniversary celebration. The event will take place on Sunday, October 22 at noon at the Bethany Veterans Park Lodge, 265 Beacon Road (Rt. 42), Bethany, Candidates who volunteer will be helping with serving food and clean-up. Trinity Council #5467 invites you and your family and friends to a fun-

filled day at the Yale Bowl. The 2nd annual tailgate party will start at 11:00 a.m. Kickoff time is 1:00 p.m. Menu will include hamburgers, hot dogs, bratwurst, snacks, salads, beans, drinks, desserts and more.

Tailgate tickets are $12.00 each for adults and teenagers; children 12 and under are FREE. To purchase or reserve your tickets, call Bob Ellis 203.393.0787 or send an email to [email protected]. The tailgate will be located in Parking Lot “D”. Take Route 34, Derby Avenue to New Haven. Turn left on Central Avenue and utilize the entrance located south of the Armory. Look for our tailgate area in the upper parking lot with orange, white and blue balloons. We look to seeing you at the Bowl on October 14th.

K of C Blood Drive on Oct. 20, 2017 in Woodbridge
